Summary of the Stance Director of Product Marketing:

The mission of the Director of Product Marketing is to generate consumer demand for Stance products. The responsibilities of the position include developing a thorough understanding of the Stance consumer, creating the product marketing archetype and tone of voice, authoring product stories, building an internal product education curriculum, and architecting the Stance product marketing strategy.

This position reports directly to the Chief Product Officer.

As a Stance Director of Product Marketing, you will:

• Define market consumer profiles by end of Q4 ‘18
- Identify consumer archetypes within each relevant category of business
- Provide consumer profile document
- Align with Marketing teams to define target consumer

• Author comprehensive market index document for all categories by end of Q4 ‘18
- Identify market leaders and relevant competitors in all categories
- Define characteristics/strategies/tone of relevant competitors in all categories
- Identify strategic position within each category

• Create the Stance Product Marketing Strategy by end of Q4 ‘18
- Identify market positioning
- Create calendar and budget
- Identify success measurements
- Develop tone and archetype

• Formalize the 2019 Stance Product Marketing Campaign by end of Q4 ‘18
- Identify targeted consumers for messaging with Sales and Marketing teams
- Author the consumer-centric campaign
- Align campaign to support larger Brand Campaign
- Align product campaign with product design themes

• Create a market assessment protocol by end of Q1 ‘19
- Identify and incorporate the opinions of key retailers and influencers
- Create focus groups for consumer insights and idea validation
- Generate market landscape data

• Formalize the 2020 Stance Product Marketing Campaign by end of Q1 ‘19
- Identify targeted consumers for messaging with Sales and Marketing teams
- Author the consumer-centric campaign
- Align campaign to support larger Brand Campaign
- Align product campaign with product design themes

• Prove product marketing ROI – Q1 ‘20
- Tally success measurements to show that campaign and initiatives work
- Create dashboards in DOMO to show real-time metrics
