Jenson USA is looking to add an experienced Buyer / Inventory Analyst to its team in Riverside, CA. The Buyer is responsible for sourcing new merchandise, and reviewing existing items to ensure products remain competitive by fully understanding customer needs. Must be able to maximize profits and provide a commercially viable range of merchandise at competitive prices.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Vendor relationship management
- Product planning/ Forecasting
- Category optimization
- Develop new product categories
- Manage margin, inventory turn and category growth goals
- Track vendor performance
- Present new category recommendations
- Identify risks and opportunities
- Organize and prioritize workload to meet deadlines.
- Demonstrate logical analysis and problem solving skills
- Flexible and adaptive to changing priorities
- Able to build and maintain productive relationships with peers
- Travel five or six trips per year including International travel
- Identify and manage emerging and declining trends
- Negotiate pricing, terms and commitments
- Develop retail pricing strategies
- Competitive Pricing analysis
