This is an “in-house” position with a thriving lifestyle apparel and accessories brand based in Manhattan Beach, CA. Responsibilities:
This position reports directly to our National Sales Manager. This position will work collaboratively with an internal team as well as hiring and managing an outside sales force for accounts in all channels of our business. The position requires the ability to forecast, set sales and profit goals, and to drive product initiatives throughout the region. The position is responsible for the execution of high level brand and product presentations for a variety of different retailers. This position requires interfacing between Sales, Logistics, Product Development, Marketing, Customer Service and Finance departments to ensure maximum results. The perfect candidate would live in the greater Los Angeles area.

Essential Duties:
• Manage and oversee sales activity for all distribution channels within the region.
• Frequent travel to local accounts to sell and maintain inventory and provide appropriate service levels
• Effectively document and communicate seasonal sales growth strategy.
• Develop business plan for strategic accounts in the region.
• Diligently manage and maintain current relationships while aggressively prospecting new business.
• Work with our internal team as well as our independent rep force to optimize service levels and results.
• Assist with development of marketing initiatives, account initiatives, events and promotional activities
• Attend, coordinate, and support all regional and national trade shows and events
• Regular travel to accounts, trade shows, and sales meetings
• Significant travel required / Company will reimburse for approved expenses

Job Requirements

Requirements:
• 5+ Years Sales and Sales Management with expertise in leading a successful team
• Ability to develop strong relationships with retailers
• Demonstrate professional and effective communication skills; and must possess the ability to present clearly and effectively
• Must be able to establish short and long term strategies that support our organizational objectives.
• Ability to segment a sales force and hire new sales reps when necessary
• Ability to challenge and motive sales team to perform at a high level
• Ability to set budgets, manage expenses, and plan for profitable
