About the job
We’re looking for a Graphic Designer to join our team! This person is responsible for creating high quality design elements that elevate our brands (ToeSox, Tavi Noir and Base 33).
This position includes the entire process of design from conception through completion on multiple ongoing projects including but not limited to printed and digital catalogs, print collateral, selling tools, POP, signage and packaging.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Work with the Marketing team and individually to develop concepts for new collateral and marketing materials
• Maintain existing brand standards and further develop brand identities
• Provide creative in-house expertise
• Manages time to meet all graphic design deadlines
• Ensures brand consistency across all creative and graphic materials
• Regularly communicates with Marketing Manager and Marketing team project updates
• Contributes to elevating the overall aesthetic of our brands
• Ensure that print production files meet print specifications
• Create power points for general corporate use
• Ability to photo retouch when needed in Photoshop – pixel perfect
• Assist in photoshoots when needed
• Keep work organized within our server and save all art files and final files
• Expert knowledge of print production methods and techniques that help elevate brand design
• Keeping up with current trends and upcoming trends within the industry, pushing out of the box creative thinking
• Create and produce print collateral that will be inserted in retail and wholesale orders
• Design print packaging for all products
• Work with Marketing Manager to create and manufacture point of purchase materials
• Create power point Sales presentation templates that are on brand
• Concept and create impactful print graphics for tradeshows and events
• Create promo flyers on an as-needed basis
• Create sell sheets and tech sheets on an as-needed basis
• Concept, create and deliver lookbooks and catalogs seasonally (150+ pages, multi-brands, perfect bound catalogs)
• Create assets that will be translated into multiple languages
• Provide art files for any collateral created so distributors can repurpose for their territories
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
Graphic Design, Print Production, Image Retouch, Collaborative, Proactive, Self-Motivated, Problem Solving, Multi-Tasker, Process Improvement, Critical Thinker, Strong Communicator, Organized, Attention to Detail, Flexible and quick to respond to changes in business priorities
Minimum Job Requirements:
Minimum 5 years graphic design experience, proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud: Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat and working knowledge of MS Office, excellent written and verbal skills, attention to detail and great eye for design, highly organized with ability to multi-task, should be solutions oriented and a critical thinker, extensive experience in print & packaging, creating press-ready files and overseeing press-checks, portfolio must show experience in print production, typography, color and layout
