The Roark Revival is growing! If you're an experienced Apparel Designer now is your chance to join us at our studio in Laguna Beach.
Key Responsibilities:
• Work with Design Director/designer on executing product designs
• Execute new style concepts in detail (fabrication, color, design, fits, trims, branding, etc…)
• Create and maintain style and color cads and presentation information
• Build handloom development color sheets to send to vendor
• Build technical design packages ready to send to vendor (Adobe Illustrator files, including but not limited to: Sketch, Detail callouts, branding, specs/measurements)
• Create style BOM information (input trim details, fabrication callouts, color information, trims, fit block, etc…)
• Work with tech room on fitting comments, detail updates and attend all fittings
• Execute designers’ comments on factory submitted samples, swatches, trims, and any other necessary developments via techpack & BOM updates
• Communicate sample and production comments with Merchandiser and/or factory
• Maintain current design related information on server for all teams to access
• Travel as necessary; both domestic and international
• Help foster good working relationships with all departments to keep the flow of information and ideas open
• Must be able to wear multiple hats at the same time and deal with certain deadline pressures throughout the year.
