Overview of the Position:
The Sales Analysis and Planning Assistant is a member of the Wholesale Sales team and is responsible for assisting the sales team with sales data tracking, reporting and analytics. Primary responsibilities include maintaining data files, disseminating data results, compiling and preparing reports on key account sell-thru, and serving as the department’s point person for accessing, maintaining and retrieving data from various online portals, preparing data and reports for forecasting, preparing ad hoc reports, collecting data from external sales reps and providing overall sales operations support.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

Analytics and Reporting Support
- On weekly basis, refresh reports utilizing Excel and internal systems and disseminate information to teams
- Collect sales data and enter and track in Excel and/or other systems
- Monitor and report on sales results compared to goals (monthly, quarterly, seasonal and annually)
- Update, maintain and run various sales reports including Wholesale Dashboard, ASAP/Fallout Weekly, Product Rankings, Drop Ship Report, seasonal Consult Report
- Create and prepare ad hoc reports as needed by management and sales representatives
- Provide the most current and relevant regional and key account sales information to internal sales teams so they can best serve our dealers and guide sales opportunities
- Support sales team with sales data and reports in preparation for sales meetings, events and other sales-related meetings
- Work with external sales reps to collect information such as regional product ratings, prepare and share relevant reports
- Work independently and/or with Sales and other staff on the creation, composition, and production of reports and presentations

Sell-Thru Support
- On a weekly basis, run reports to collect data from SPS portal, enter and maintain data in CSC Dashboard and Key Account Product file; disseminate sales results to sales representatives and internal team
- Proactively problem solve issues or errors with account data submission, working with CSC
- Collect Key Account sell-thru data from sales representatives and SPS portal and aggregate the data to master file; distribute summary and prepares data for further deep dive analysis
- Maintain seasonal sell-thru target file with actuals
- Support sales team with sales data and reports in preparation for specific needs
- Act as point person and technical system expert for SPS and NPD portals and reporting
- Maintain seasonal data in SPS ensuring accurate ST% and GM%
- Collect and prepare reports for analysis of quarterly NPD data

Forecasting & Planning Support
- Set up, prepare templates and reports for monthly and yearly shipping goals to support management’s ability to forecast; coordinate and aggregate data for team
- Maintain, monitor, and track seasonal forecasting templates and communicate status to goals such as Landing Estimate, Preseason Dealer Comp, Global Forecast and Bookings file, Seasonal Sales Manager files

Sales Operations & Dealer Services Support
- Assist with training Sales Reps on BI Center and Online Dashboard tools; works with IT on advancing the tool and problem solve any errors
- Create and disseminate centralized sales information to sales teams to assist sales with providing additional support to reps on a proactive basis
- Maintain and administer website for new business prospecting (Joor)
- Back-up dealer services team when needed compiling data for dealer’s master data product setup templates
- Update and publish SOP’s on SharePoint supporting sales team
