Job Description

The Marketing Director has the responsibility for strategizing and executing Falltech’s marketing needs. The successful candidate must have good strategic vision while being able to undertake the tactical execution and working towards building and managing the team. This ranges from strategic marketing, marketing communication, product launches, managing the trade shows, and managing our website. This role is very hand-on, fast paced.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Drive and expand brand awareness, marketing strategies, and tactics to support organization goals and performance matrices.
• Develop marketing communications, managing timelines, deliverables and content. Manage brand identity and customer research. Make changes to strategies based on results and findings.
• Develop and distribute press releases and news articles on product launches, key initiatives while securing placement in trade and non-trade publications
• .Define and create collateral for product launches and promotional material (Brochures, Press Releases, OEM Catalogs), product and product line presentations and data sheets.
• Develop engaging content for our website and maintaining organizational website and social media strategy and manage online communities.
• Develop and monitor KPIs for key marketing initiatives, update weekly & monthly trackers, and provide periodic reports to the marketing department, senior management and board presentations.
• Develops and analyzes data collection methods and tools (such as surveys, questionnaires, interviews, and voice- of- customer) to obtain relevant feedback from the end users.
• Work with other departments to enhance image and quality of programs, publications and products. Collaborate with writers and designers to oversee copywriting, design, and production of promotional materials and advertising. Work with the outside sales team in fulfilling the graphical, communication and marcom needs for local and regional tradeshows.
• Foster teamwork throughout the department as well as organization.

Job Requirements

REQUIREMENTS:
• Demonstrated hands on skills in the design and execution of marketing, communications, and public relations/media engagement.
• Experience in overseeing the design and production of print and digital materials and publications
• Expertise in public relations, organizational communications, and social media,
• Strong creative, strategic, analytical, organizational and interpersonal skills
• Excellent computer skills, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Explorer, Outlook
• Enthusiastic, passionate, a self-starter, confident, professional, and a creative problem-solver
• Effective communicator, highly self-motivated, creative and focused decision maker
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills, written and oral
• Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to communicate to all levels
• Ability to work independently and cooperatively as part of a team
• Ability to initiate, coordinate and organize projects/tasks through to completion accurately and on time
• Minimum, Bachelor’s Degree (BS/BA) or equivalent from an accredited college or university and/or equivalent experience. Master’s (MA) highly desirable.
• At least 5 years related and progressively responsible experience in consumer marketing, program development, and management or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Preferably 5+ years working for a safety equipment manufacturer or hardware manufacturer is a plus.

Travel: 10% Domestic and International
