Accounts Receivable & Collections Specialist Job in Temecula, CA

Intense Cycles in Temecula CA is looking to hire an experienced accounting professional to handle accounts receivable, collections and credit management duties including, but not limited to, those listed below.

The Credit Manager’s primary role is to collect outstanding moneys due to Intense from retailers and distributors for all product sales. Secondly the credit manager manages the credit and credit limits of all existing customers and thirdly the credit manager works on credit applications of new customers. The credit manager has an understanding and appreciation of Intense’s principles, brand values, action plan and the workings of credit and collection within the action sports industry.

Accounts Receivable and Collection functions

• Daily collection activities of outstanding accounts receivables
• Maintain the entry, tracking and maintenance of appropriate records regarding all receivables
• Post cash receipts to customer accounts daily
• Perform accurate reconciliations of customer accounts
• Serve customers by researching and responding to inquiries
• Research chargeback claims
• Assist with the documentation and maintaining of policies and procedures associated with the billing and AR functions
• Assist with various month end reconciliations
• Other duties as assigned

Credit management functions

• Manage and monitor credit position of each customer
• Analyze new credit requirements
• Obtain personal guaranties and UCC filings for customers
• Work with credit insurance company
• Liaison with collection agencies on debt recovery matters
• Invoice interest to customers that are over due
