The Digital Communications Manager is responsible for broad-level website strategy (website and web shop) and content management, social media strategy and execution as well as initiatives for public relations and media.

Web / E-Commerce and Content Strategy
- Creates, implements, and maintains a system-wide web content strategy that supports the organization’s mission, vision, and values, and results in consistent, easy-to-maintain, engaging, mobile-friendly web content
- Manages workflows for developing, sharing, integrating, and approving content
- Update product information and content on the website
- Create banners, images, promotions etc for display on the website
- Update content managed areas (copy & artwork)
- Manage website configuration & parameters (eg payment options, stock management)
- Investigate and report any operational/technical issues arising
- Scope and document ongoing website functional projects /improvements
- Test and deploy functional projects /improvements
- Liaise with e-commerce agency regarding the management and development of the website
- Liaise with internal resources regarding the day to day management of the website
- Evaluate approaches & strategies to improve website sales conversions & customer engagement
- Understand and develop sources of traffic (& the factors that influence it): email, SEO, PPC, affiliates, social media, etc.

Social Media Strategy
- Plan and execute all digital marketing, including SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and display advertising campaigns
- Design, build and maintain our social media presence
- Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals
- Identify trends and insights, and optimize spend and performance based on the insights
- Collaborate with internal teams, agencies to create landing pages and optimize user experience
- Instrument conversion and optimize user funnels
- Collaborate with agencies and other vendor partners
PR/Media and Influencer
- Manage relationships with media partners, brand ambassadors and influencers
- Work with media to publish timely company / product information
- Internal communication
Requirements
- BS/MS degree in marketing or a related field
- Proven working experience in digital marketing
- Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and/or display advertising campaigns
- Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate
- Experience in optimizing landing pages and user funnels
- Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics)
- Working knowledge of ad serving tools
- Experience in setting up and optimizing Google Adwords campaigns
- Working knowledge of HTML, Shopify is a plus
- Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
- Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement
