The Online Sales Representative is a subject matter expert on the e-commerce shopping journey and the bicycle industry. This role continuously leverages insights to improve conversion rate, AOV and customer retention. S/he is highly organized and has great business acumen, with demonstrated skills in closing sales via email, live chat and phone.
⏵ Ensures all e-commerce sales targets are met or exceeded within the U.S. territory.
⏵ Close and grow sales through professional communication and interaction with current and potential customers and provide exemplary customer service throughout the sales cycle.
⏵ Prepare action plans for effective search of sales leads and prospects within the U.S. market.
⏵ Manage and interpret customer requirements – speaking with customers to understand, anticipate and meet their needs.
⏵ Maintain high customer satisfaction rating that meets company standards.
⏵ Ensure that sales pipeline remains full of qualified leads and prospects.
⏵ Creates and manages a customer value plan for existing customers that creates share and value opportunities.
⏵ Identifies advantages and compares competitor products/services.
⏵ Maintain an owner follow up system that encourages repeat and referral business and contributes to customer satisfaction.
⏵ Engage with creative team to develop strategy and opportunity for converting leads into customers.
⏵ Continuously learns about product updates, features, accessories, inventory and their benefits and communicates that knowledge to the customer.
⏵ Keeps abreast of product applications, technical services, market conditions, competitive activities, promotional trends.
⏵ Learn to overcome objections; ask for the sale; complete sales; explain and offer warranties and finance.
⏵ Demonstrate behaviors consistent with Company's Values in all interactions with customers, coworkers and vendors.
⏵ Must have 3 years + proven sales experience.
⏵ Mountain Bike and Industry knowledge a must
⏵ Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
⏵ Ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner in written and verbal communication channels.
⏵ Strong organization skills, able to multi-task and manage time to meet frequently changing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
⏵ Outgoing personality and willing to work with the public daily.
⏵ Proficient computer and internet skills.
⏵ Confidence in your ability to be successful.
⏵ A desire to work in a commission, performance-based environment.
⏵ Must be a strong closer with the ability to ask for the sale and follow through.
⏵ Bilingual a PLUS!
⏵ E-commerce experience a must.
⏵ Experience with Shopify E-commerce platform preferred.
