Nuun is looking for a Field Marketing Lead to grow brand awareness in the NorCal market. This role will report to; and work closely with, the Director of Field Marketing. This role is responsible for planning, executing and sampling at key active events (cycling, running, triathlon, etc.) with a goal of increasing brand awareness of Nuun in the NorCal market. Events and opportunities may be independent of, or linked to, specific Nuun retail partners across the Grocery, Drug, Supplement, and Sports Specialty channels of business. The Field Marketing Lead role will flex time around weeknight and weekend events as appropriate to effectively reach and affect the end consumer. This role will be the “face” of Nuun in the active community and local market and be responsible for brand integrity, education, and promotion consistent with Nuun standards and expectations.

Requirements and Responsibilities:

-Work with the Director of Field Marketing to develop a strategy for growing the brand and ultimately driving sales in the NorCal market, via local races, group runs/rides, community events and retailer events.
-Responsible for planning, executing, and where appropriate, participating in, local races/events in the NorCal market that meet Nuun brand strategy and growth goals.
-Identify key events in the region and work with the Director of Field Marketing to negotiate partnerships/sponsorships when they connect us to our target consumer and are a strong brand fit.
-Collaborate with the Director of Field Marketing to plan for and execute large consumer expos.
-Execution of our key national partnerships that fall within the NorCal region.
-Management of the hydration crew (part-time contract employees) to ensure that we are properly staffed at all events and are supporting the retail channels through demos.
-Successful penetration of the local studio fitness community using our proven method of sampling and education.
-Maintain strong working relationship with our key retailers in the Sports Specialty Channel.
-Assist all Nuun business channels (Grocery/Drug/Supplements & Sports Specialty) as needed.
-Participate as a key contributor in conference calls with Marketing teams.
-Overnight travel will be required in this position, estimated at 20% per month.
-Ideally live within 30 mins of the San Francisco downtown core.
