Your Job:

The Brooks Footwear Product Operations team exists to enable and empower product teams to achieve their best possible outcomes. This function, within Global Footwear, focuses on operational excellence by defining, communicating & constantly improving operational processes, internal communication, and strategic project & portfolio management. In support of these efforts, Product Operations develops, deploys & maintains tools and targeted solutions.

Our global team seeks a skilled Manager, Project and Process Management to lead the execution of our product creation portfolio from concept to Go-to-Market focusing on programs, processes, systems and tools to maximize our delivery to Brooks and the runner. The Manager, Process and Project Management will lead a team of project managers focused on delivering on the product creation process, from concept to market. You will have demonstrated consistent success across project, portfolio, program and team management as well as process management and organizational change. This role also requires expertise in project management systems and tools as well as the ability to learn, implement and manage the tools and systems required within Footwear. An ability to generate a deep understanding of our business objectives and product best practices are critical to success.

The Manager, Project and Process Management must be an effective communicator and collaborator, capable of managing and organizing your team, while leading and facilitating cross-functional project teams and working closely with senior leadership to effectively implement change. The successful candidate will be a strong people leader, work seamlessly across the organization as well as possess the ability to influence without authority and must become the role model for project/process management best practices.

Your Responsibilities:
! Manage the product creation and Go to Market team and related processes within the Project and Process Management function. This includes the Innovation, In-Line and the seasonal Go-to-Market calibration processes.
! Own and drive the current Go to Market process, working closely with leadership teams across Global Sales, Supply Planning, Marketing, eComm and Brooks executives in support of the Footwear product roadmap.
! Partner with global functional and cross-functional teams to identify and implement organizational opportunities to ensure Footwear meets its strategic goals.
! Work cross functionally as a representative of the Footwear Team to identify opportunities and lead project, process and organizational change management for initiatives that span across the Brooks organization
! Model, analyze, prioritize and improve processes within product creation, and standardize processes where applicable
! Lead multiple complex, strategic projects with global workstreams maintaining responsibility for project management, team leadership, data analysis, strategy development, implementation, training, and adoption
! Build capabilities within the Product Operations team to ensure seamless transition of project execution and results
! Manage, coach and mentor direct reports and team members to ensure consistent team development and growth. Creating a culture of Project/ Process management excellence & best practice
! Work with direct reports on career development, identifying opportunities and assessment for professional practice and deveopment on long term growth.
! Manage project request submission, project prioritization, portfolio balancing and resource allocation for all product creation projects, driving business impact and maximizing project portfolio value in alignment with Brooks' strategic objectives.
! Facilitate resource capacity planning for business and system resources required to meet planned GTM/Creation initiatives. Make recommendations to balance and optimize resource capacity planning outcomes.
! Collaborate with Footwear leadership to develop scope for projects, followed by project leadership through end-to-end delivery
! Own project management for your designated porfolio:
! Define project tasks and resource requirements; assemble and lead project teams
! Develop full-scale project plans, risk assessments, change control and project status
! Report, manage, mitigate project issues, risks and escalations, and ensure project delivery and overall success.
! Develop a deep understanding of the business and influence cross-functionally across multiple time zones, skill sets and disciplines to provide the tools and processes to enable Footwear teams to assess, optimize and standardize their processes.
! Leverage process improvement methodologies to initiate process improvement initiatives, driving efficiency and effectiveness
! Oversee the selection, implementation and management of the necessary systems and tools in support of project and process management across Footwear
! Maintain knowledge of internal and external best practices related to project and process management; provide recommendations to evolve our processes and lead implementation of new tools/methodologies into Brooks
! Research, analyze and evaluate new and emerging technologies, practices and methodologies in support of project, portfolio and process management.
! Hold cross-functional teams accountable for deliverables by positively influencing within Footwear
! Occasional International travel may be required

Qualifications:
! Bachelor’s degree and 7+ year of related process and/or program management experience, ideally in a product development or consulting environment
! Minimum of 3 years of experience managing and leading project teams. Experience working across a global infrastructure preferred
! Demonstrated knowledge of project management standards and experience with portfolio and project management software
! Demonstrated experience in process improvement initiatives and/or projects
! Demonstrated experience in organizational change management activities within initiatives and/or projects
! Demonstrated experience working in a cross-functional environment
! Demonstrated experience working with Sr. leadership and leadership teams
! Experience managing multiple concurrent cross-functional projects, working with leadership teams to ensure project goals are met
