Your Job:

The Brooks Footwear Product Operations team exists to enable and empower product teams to achieve their best possible outcomes. This function, within Global Footwear, focuses on operational excellence by defining, communicating & constantly improving operational processes, internal communication, change management and strategic project & portfolio management. In support of these efforts, Product Operations develops, deploys & maintains systems, tools and targeted solutions. Our global team seeks an experienced Senior Manager to lead the Product Operations function and help develop and mentor a strong team of Systems Leads and Project & Project Managers

In this role, you will lead the Product Operations function. You will develop and manage a team of project & process managers in addition to tools and systems leads. You will be responsible for developing and executing on the strategy of Product Operations in support of Footwear and the end-to-end product creation process – including product innovation, product creation, Go to Market, sourcing & manufacturing and overall systems. In addition to these responsibilities the Sr. Manager will be be the primary lead across Footwear for Footwear Systems & Tools, IT collaboration, and best practices as it relates to project and process management. Furthermore, this position will work with Footwear leadership to support strategic initiatives, culture projects, business management and the overall leadership project portfolio.

This role manages the entirety of the footwear creation processes including documentation, communication and progress monitoring/ reporting for our innovation, advanced, seasonal projects, goals and initiatives. You will lead strategic organizational & product creation initiatives, consistently driving successful outcomes through centralized ownership of project management, systems and effective coordination across teams. This role operates at a strategic level and requires a close partnership with key business and functional stakeholders. Must be an effective collaborator, who will organize, lead, and facilitate cross-functional project teams, develop recommendations for innovating end-to-end enterprise processes and work closely with key senior leaders to effectively implement change.

Your Responsibilities:
! Partner with the Footwear Leadership team to drive strategic organizational & product creation initiatives, consistently driving successful outcomes through centralized ownership of project management, systems and effective coordination across teams.
! Manage the successful implementation and execution of the end-to-end product creation process through cross functional collaboration ensuring visibility to all stakeholders
! Work with Footwear Leadership in identifying and implementing strategic initiatives across the team, including development and implementation of organizational change management
! Lead, manage and coach Project & Process managers and Systems Lead to ensure footwear systems, operations, programs and processes are executed and delivered to enhance the Brooks runner experience and product offerings
! Influence and mentor the Operations staff in Asia to ensure process and programs are adopted and followed
! Lead the Product Operations team to efficiently and effectively meet our strategic brand and product goals and KPI’s.
! Create a Project/ Process management center of excellence through tools, process, and training
! Model, analyze, prioritize and improve processes using data-driven decisions, and standardize processes where applicable.
! Manage enterprise-wide cross-functional teams across multiple complex projects in parallel.
! Build capabilities in operational teams to ensure seamless transition of project execution and results.
! Leverages knowledge of project management to provide guidance and structure to project and resource planning processes. Acting as an agent for key timeline deliverables and decisions by proactively identifying and removing obstacles and escalating as appropriate.
! Create, establish and maintain tracking tools and metrics for process, timelines, calendar and relevant deliverables with visibility for each department/ stakeholder.
! Identify and exploit opportunities for process improvement initiatives to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
! Ensure systems are in place to capture cost/benefit comparisons and report actual benefits relative to intended benefits over the long term.
! Maintain knowledge of internal and external practices related to project portfolio management, resource capacity planning and associated education and training programs. Research, analyze, and evaluate new and emerging technologies, practices, and methodologies in support of project portfolio management. Consult with Footwear leadership to promote best practices and industry standards.
! Oversee project portfolio and analysis of all proposed footwear innovation projects. Ensure all projects are executed based on established priorities. Develop capacity planning and project portfolio results to communicate to senior leaders in Footwear.

Qualifications:
! Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years project and/ or project & process management experience, including of product development and manufacturing/ operations processes.
! 5+ years experience and proven success directing, managing and inspiring staff to produce stated objectives, goals and company performance KPI’s.
! Candidate must be willing to travel internationally up to 15%
! Demonstrated understanding of the principles, standards and tools associated with business analysis, project management and process engineering
! Ability to build and foster strong relationships across the organization, from individual contributors to senior management. Establishes trust and inspires others to ensure business goals are met.
! Highly Collaborative leadership skills. Partners actively and achieves alignment. Inspires and achieves results through teams; establishes a culture of candor, accountability and speed
! Being self-driven, eager to learn and goal-oriented with strong time-management skills.
