Your Position:

The Transportation Network Operations Manager manages day-to-day operational execution. Leveraging Brook’s transportation network routing options, you will ensure purchase orders are delivered within the parameters established by Supply Planning and Customer Service. You will manage the day-to-day operational execution of transportation providers for all transportation segments. You will be responsible for monitoring the health of the transportation network and ensure that customer expectations are met. You will partner with Trade Compliance to ensure all regulations are being followed and met while identify processes to ensure goods are transported through the supply chain seamlessly.

Responsibilities:
! Establish standard processes, metrics and tracking tools to ensure the efficient flow of orders from Brooks’ factories to its customers
! Oversee the integrity of intransit inventory ensuring safeguards are in place to meet C-TPAT requirements and tracking the physical custody of purchase orders in transit
! Works closely with the Transportation Carrier Managers, Supply Planning and Customer Service team to improve service to Brooks’ customers and identify transportation lead time and cost savings opportunities
! Manage, lead and train Transportation Specialists team to ensure execution of job responsibilities efficiently and at a high level of quality and productivity
! Create and maintain logistics standard operating procedures, work manuals, and vendor guides for both footwear and apparel
! Ensure that all processes comply with ISO 9001-2000 specifications and all other applicable regulatory guidelines
! Oversee implementation of the CT Logistics system, in collaboration with Transportation Excellence Lead and manage daily exceptions in NA freight payment and audit system
! Analyze NA transportation data and provide recommendations to Transportation Senior Manager on opportunities to reduce costs and improve efficiencies
! Design, implement and manage a strong transportation claims process across NA
! Manage transportation operations by achieving or exceeding KPI’s to meet delivery requirements, customer demand and business needs: US and international, footwear, apparel
! Manage special programs for footwear and apparel including US and international footwear consolidation programs, direct-to-customer shipping, VAS: value added service and samples, etc
! Oversee administration of factory and international distributor payments via bank letter of credit, wire transfer or Tradecard for footwear and apparel purchase and customer orders
! Collaborate, develop, and implement cross-functional process improvements with internal departments
! Keep current in fields and apply best practices in all areas of responsibilities

Qualifications:
! Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Business, Supply Chain, Transportation or Logistics or equivalent experience.
! 5+ years work experience in international trade, Supply Chain, logistics, transportation, and customs operations.
! 3+ years leading, coaching, and mentoring a transportation team
! Excellent organizational and analytical skills
! Strong leadership and communication skills
! Proven success in reviewing data to measure and to achieve a goal which results in cost reduction and ultimately improves customer service
! A leadership style that is conducive to building teams and driving issues to resolution
! Proven team builder with effective communication skills
! Ability to effectively function in a team environment and make positive contributions
! Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks
! Ability to work independently and make effective decisions
! Excellent communication and motivational skills
! Transportation and resource planning
