Your Job:

Brooks Regional Tech Rep Supervisor will lead and execute Brooks’ field rep strategy in all distribution channels located within their respective region and territory to increase market share, amplify Brooks’ product leadership and create recognition, awareness and loyalty for the brand. You will also manage a team of Tech Reps within a designated region, providing day to day leadership, coaching, and support.

Your Responsibilities:
! Lead the overall field support efforts for Brooks at both SRA and Non-Specialty accounts located within your territory.
! Support the Sales and Marketing teams with product launches, in-store merchandising, and innovative grassroots programs at all accounts.
! Work with Sales management and Marketing on the success of National Account sell-thru programs/in-store promotions; all Tech Rep’s are accountable for an established sell-thru number for a pre-determined store base within their respective territory.
! Educate and motivate the retailer, consumer, and all key points of contact about Brooks technology and product leadership via product seminars and clinics.
! Work the sales floor at accounts as assigned – be an expert at driving product sell-thru in all channels.
! Represent Brooks at national (and selected local) running events and expos -- including set-up, breakdown, distribution of collateral, interaction with consumers and product trial.
! Provide feedback and analysis via bi-weekly field reports to measure effectiveness of product initiatives and sales strategies; identify new opportunities for growth within or outside the running industry.
! Manage, develop, and train Tech Reps within assigned region, ensuring they have the necessary resources and skills for job execution.
! Provide leadership to each Tech Rep within region through consistent coaching and goal development.
! Travel with all Tech Reps within region several times, including a regular schedule of travel days in the field, as a means to provide feedback regarding technical product clinics, individual progress, and overall performance.
! Track and manage progress of each Tech Rep with weekly one-on-one calls and bi-weekly regional conference calls.
! Communicate sell thru goals for key accounts and the SRA channel to all Tech Reps within the region.
! Send monthly regional field reports to the Sales Manager, France with highlights and trends of region.
! Manage and track budgets that relate to regional Tech Rep team expenditures; approve weekly expense reports.
! Work closely with Sales Manager on onboarding process and smooth transition of new hires into their territory.
! Provide weekly recap report to Sales Manager regarding each Tech Rep in the region.
! Develop content, with the help of the Sales Manager, for training sessions at bi-annual Sales Meetings.
! Maintain appearance of leased company vehicle and all Brooks equipment.

Your Qualifications:
! Bachelor’s degree in Marketing/Sales/Retail Management preferred.
! 2+ years marketing and/or sales experience within the sports industry required.
! 2+ years of retail experience (Athletic Specialty preferred).
! Managerial or supervisory experience preferred.
! Highly motivated and energetic with an enthusiastic attitude.
! Excellent verbal and written communication skills, demonstrating effective listening through concise, clear verbal
! and written communication.
! Excellent interpersonal skills that inspire and build trust resulting in effective working relationships across the company.
! Keen attention to detail in planning, organization and execution of tasks, while still seeing the big picture and understanding how all of the pieces fit together and affect one another.
! Ability to anticipate how a decision made can affect our customers, our partners, our products or other departments’ operations and/or morale; “connecting the dots.”
! Demonstration of innovation and initiative – always looking at improving our products and processes while also displaying a willingness to dive into the details and help out wherever necessary.
! Passionate participation in Brooks’ sports activities a plus, overridden by the ability to understand and empathize with the runner in order to develop loyal, engaging relationships with our customers and the Brooks community.
! Basic knowledge of retail math, inventory management, product merchandising and retail selling skills.
! Knowledge of performance athletic footwear/apparel/accessories and their related technologies.
! Knowledge of the biomechanics of human motion; understanding of injury prevention basics.
! Enthusiasm and knowledge for the sport of running and other sports in general.
! Extensive travel required; able and willing to work weekends and extended hours as required.
! Must show proof of good driving record upon request.
! Ability to lead team to drive sales and accomplish team goals.
