Your Job:

The Brooks Footwear Product Operations team exists to enable and empower product teams to achieve their best possible outcomes. This function, within Global Footwear, focuses on operational excellence by defining, communicating & constantly improving operational processes, internal communication, and strategic project & portfolio management. In support of these efforts, Product Operations develops, deploys & maintains tools and targeted solutions. Our global team seeks a skilled Sr. Project and Process Manager to lead a portfolio of programs and/or processes, own specific systems and tools and help develop and mentor a strong team.

The Senior Process and Project Manager has demonstrated consistent success across project, portfolio and program management as well as process management and organizational change. The ideal candidate for this role is a quick learner, excels at communication and is an expert at comprehending technical information and assisting in developing creative ways to deliver information to relevant stakeholders. An ability to generate a deep understanding of our business objectives and product best practices are critical to success.

This role will be heavily involved in leading Footwear Programs, Portfolios and Projects including but not limited to Footwear business needs (costing, resourcing, budgeting), the product creation process and Footwear sustainability initiative. This includes process leadership and improvement, project leadership, reporting, and organizational change management. The Sr. Project Manager must be an effective communicator and collaborator, capable of organizing, leading and facilitating cross-functional project teams while also working closely with senior leadership to effectively implement change. The successful candidate will be a strong leader across the organization as well as possess the ability to influence without authority and must become the role model for project/process management best practices.

Your Responsibilities:
! Work cross functionally as a representative of the Footwear Team to identify opportunities and lead project, process and organizational change management for initiatives that span across the Brooks organization
! Model, analyze, prioritize and improve processes within product creation, and standardize processes where applicable
! Lead multiple projects maintaining responsibility for project management, team leadership, data analysis, strategy development, implementation, training, and adoption
! Build capabilities within the Product Operations team to ensure seamless transition of project execution and results
! Define project tasks and resource requirements; assemble and lead project teams
! Develop full-scale project plans, risk assessments, change control and project status
! Report, manage, mitigate project issues, risks and escalations, and ensure project delivery and overall success.
! Leverage process improvement methodologies to initiate process improvement initiatives, driving efficiency and effectiveness
! Implement and manage the necessary systems and tools in support of project and process management across Footwear
! Maintain knowledge of internal and external best practices related to project and process management; provide recommendations to evolve our processes and lead implementation of new tools/methodologies into Brooks
! Research, analyze and evaluate new and emerging technologies, practices and methodologies in support of project, portfolio and process management.
! Hold cross-functional teams accountable for deliverables by positively influencing within Footwear
! Occasional International travel may be required

Qualifications:
! Bachelor’s degree and 5+ year of related process and/or program management experience, ideally in a product development or consulting environment
! Minimum of 3 years of experience leading project teams
! Demonstrated knowledge of project management standards and experience with portfolio and project management software
! Demonstrated experience in process improvement initiatives and/or projects
! Demonstrated experience in organizational change management activities within initiatives and/or projects
! Demonstrated experience working in a cross-functional environment
! Demonstrated experience working with Sr. leadership and leadership teams
! Experience managing multiple concurrent cross-functional projects, working with leadership teams to ensure project goals are met
! Experience in strategic project planning and implementation including business requirement generation and process analysis & design;
! Experience with process and project management software – The Product Operations team currently uses Smartsheet for all program and project management tracking
! Collaborative leadership skills
! Being self-driven, eager to learn and goal-oriented with strong time-management skills
! Exceptional work ethic; being adaptable to ever-changing demands, with the ability to refocus and develop options for quick changes in projects
! Experience with Microsoft Office required
! Experience in using analytical methods to improve processes
! Strong verbal and written communication skills are a must
! Excellent interpersonal skills that inspire and build trust resulting in effective working relationships across the company
! Ability to anticipate how a decision made can affect our customers, our partners, our products or other departments’ operations and/or morale; “connecting the dots.”
! Ability to challenge the status quo – always looking at improving our products and processes while also displaying a willingness to dive into the details
! Proven ability to communicate and influence in a collaborative, team oriented and complex global environment
! Passionate participation in Brooks’ sports activities a plus, overridden by the ability to understand and empathize with the runner to develop loyal, engaging relationships with our customers and the Brooks community
