Your Job:

As the Manager, Order Management and Distribution Systems, you will be a part of the team responsible for delivering the global enterprise applications portfolio and the overall strategic technology roadmap for our major enterprise applications including ERP, Warehouse Management, Order Management as well as integrations with applications across the enterprise such as EDI B2B & B2C EComm sites, Product systems, and Marketplaces.

Given Brooks has a buy vs. build strategy, you will lead a team charged with delivering on any business needs through our IBM Sterling Order Management Systems as well as Warehouse Management technologies utilized in our Distribution Centers and 3PLs. You will be accountable for ensuring that the above technologies are high-functioning, available and scalable at or ahead of the pace of the business.

Your Responsibilities:
! Technology and Service Delivery Leadership
! Strategic:
! Own the WMS workstream and roadmap, including other applications used in the Distribution Centers
! Own the Order Management (OMS) program and roadmap. Liaison with key business teams such as Customer Service, Distribution and Logistics teams as well as cross functional IT partners such as Digital Products (B2C), Business Systems (B2B) to maintain and prioritize an active backlog of projects, features and system enhancements that impact or are directly impacted by the OMS or WMS
! Own the Services Catalog and delivery in your area
! Lead the delivery of solutions contributing to a multi-year solutions roadmap supporting key company goals and stakeholder objectives
! Serve as a liaison for your team to other Brooks IT and business leaders & teams for cross-functional project delivery
! Day-to-day:
! Participate in the selection and implementation activities for new enterprise applications. Provide buy vs. build assessments and work with Legal and Security teams during the procurement process for new products and technology vendors
! Participate in Enterprise Applications intake, planning and design review sessions. Partner closely with architects and subject matter experts, providing innovative design input when developing/managing architecture patterns for new integration use cases and championing the execution of these patterns through delivery
! Conduct detailed requirement reviews with the business teams, your team, and architects, as necessary and plan for quality assurance. Manage the delivery of technical documentation including system context diagrams, functional specifications including data flows, further solidifying team’s understanding of the design as it meets business requirements
! Ensure that all applications and integrations/interfaces critical to the business are always operational. Ensure technology is monitored and maintained to ensure maximum access and peak performance
! Own the incident, request, change and escalation processes, ensuring high levels of performance in these processes, accurate reporting, and establishing service improvement activities when required
! Champion operational change management. Develop a strong understanding of projects or service outages impacting your service area and ensuring service impact is agreed to/minimized and well communicated.
! Collaborate with the IT Engineering, Cloud Services, Infrastructure, and Security teams to ensure that the infrastructure, access, and application performance is unblocked and adequate
! Collaborate with Digital Products, Data & Analytics, and other technology teams globally to proactively identify and address cross-functional project resource dependencies
! Ensure that applications adhere to internal and external compliance & security standards. Ensure readiness and support for vendor and 3rd party audits
! Vendor Management:
! Actively work with software vendors (Softeon, IBM, DHL, FedEx) to ensure access to latest innovation from these vendors and incorporate business critical features and system updates in the program roadmap and backlog
! Work with SAAS application vendors to ensure system capacity and performance are sufficient for evolving needs.
! Actively monitor SLAs with production support vendors for IBM Sterling and Softeon, etc.
! Ensure staffing and keen oversight on delivery for projects as well as operations support by working with vendor partner on project/need-based staff augmentation (professional services)
! Manage relationships with technology providers and develop new relationships for changing business needs, for example, IBM, Nextuple, Softeon, etc.
! Budget Management:
! Operate to planned budget to ensure department and company goals are met
! Provide input into the quarterly reforecasting process for spend in your area
! Learn Brooks requirements around budget planning and capex documentation to garner resources necessary to evolve the company’s solutions
! Participate in the selection and implementation activities for new enterprise applications
! People Leadership:
! Lead, mentor, and coach a team of analysts, developers and engineers who design, implement, test, operate, support and secure applications and integrations across Brooks’ enterprise
! Hire, develop, and manage the performance of the team using Brooks’ HR processes
! Manage intake, staffing, work assignments and timelines. Provide team capacity inputs for project resource planning
! Educate and elevate your team’s understanding around the architecture considerations and patterns at Brooks
! Create and foster a service-oriented, highly collaborative culture

Your Qualifications:
! Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant experience. Additional higher education and/or technical certifications a plus!
! 7+ years of systems/business analysis or solution architecture experience in designing, implementing, configuring/customizing, deploying, and maintaining:
! IBM Sterling Order Management System for order management, order orchestration, routing, distributed order management, inventory visibility and returns management for both b2c (direct to consumer) and b2b (wholesale) channels
! Supporting the distribution and warehouse operations using WMS such as Manhattan, Softeon, etc.
! Supporting design and production operations of interfaces with tier 1 supply chain technologies:
