A Key Part of the role is to provide integrated marketing support for our Strategic and Key Accounts. This includes to develop and deliver account specific trade marketing strategies that align with brand and sales objectives. Central to the role is a strong relationship with the retailers, the Key Account Manager, Sales Manager DACH as well as the Marketing Manager DACH and the EMEA Marketing Team. (S)he develops and monitors the right retail marketing plans and supports the regional Marketing Manager in budget and strategy planning. Critrical to the role is to support the Retail & Events Coordinator in supervising and monitoring all POS marketing executions against the objective of sell-through and brand visibility at POS. Your Responsibilities • Lead the strategic development of retail Marketing activity across DACH • Planning, presentation and activation of retail marketing plans for retailer segments (particularly for Key accounts) based on the seasonal demand and sales plans for DACH based on EMEA directives • Build a strong relationship with the retailers with a focus on Strategic and Key Accounts • Development and execution of agreed retail marketing activities for key retailers (Key Accounts) and standard POS programs • Working closely with Sales Manager, Key Account Manager, Tech Rep Manager, Sales Reps, Tech Reps and Retail & Events Coordinator on POS retail marketing support and seasonal launch plans • Ensuring consistent and continuous visibility of the Brooks brand and products at POS (brick & mortar, online, social, PR, retail events) as well as continuous marketing support of Sales and Tech Reps to drive sell through • Execute project requests for in-store and digital retail needs that are executed on time and within budget • Plan and execute special in-store and corporate events for key retailers • Plan and monitor respective account marketing budgets under the direction of the Marketing Manager • Travel to account meetings and tradeshows for retail marketing presentations and other commitments • Liaise with the EMEA team to meet close deadlines and ensure deliverables are met on time • Communicate seasonal program progress including changes, updates, feedback from retailers, sales data from promotions and consumer engagement as applicable. Work closely with the EMEA marketing team to ensure all DACH requirements are part of the EMEA strategy and planning • Manage the retail marketing budget across DACH • Ensure all retail marketing inatitives are delivered on time and on budget • Assist the regional Marketing Manager in budget and strategy planning • Provide mentoring, guidance and training to the Retail & Events Coordinator in supervising and monitoring all POS marketing executions against the objective of sell-through and brand visibility at POS • Ensure that the customer experience, assets, and programs execute on time and fulfill campaign strategy and objectives, reflecting brand principles and guidelines and increasing Brooks Brand Awareness • Be the first at market with new ideas to attract, engage and connect with new target groups • Secure space in new stores for Brooks branded space Your Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree (preferably in business/marketing) or apprenticeship in trade • A minimum of 5 years of relevant sales and/or marketing experience (brand, footwear, retail & lifestyle experience, event experience); • Must have a good understanding of brand building and integrated marketing approach • Experienced with marketing & communications mix at country and/ or international level (ideally in an international environment); • Experience in staff supervision • Travel of 25% required with at least one trip per season to all Key Accounts and Buying groups as well as their events and exhibitions • Thinks strategically and executes tactically • Good understanding and knowledge of retail and direct marketing • Must have proven experience in co-operation with sales and retail marketing; • Able to generate new ideas and creative solutions; • Drive & energetic, trend-conscious; sport-savvy • Flexibility to work on own initiative or within team and cross-functional framework; • Excellent organizational and management skills: ability to multi-task, combining strategy and execution.
