Your Job The eCommerce Site Merchandiser is responsible for helping to grow our BrooksRunning.com business by executing all online campaigns. This individual owns the set up of all products available to sell and is the primary owner for optimizing the shopping flow on the site to match brand objectives and digital commerce best practices. Key contributor in identifying and developing new presentations and online programs to increase website traffic and conversion. While this role sits within the EMEA eCommerce team, cross-functional collaboration with the EMEA Marketing team, the EMEA Creative Services team, and the Global eCommerce team will also be critical. Your Responsibilities • Responsibilities for the implementation of the BrooksRunning.com merchandising strategy, including, but not limited to cross-sell/upsell opportunities, featured products, product renewals, and search recommendations. • Have a strong understanding of product information, technology, and stories and provide recommendations to cross functional teams on how to better educate customers online. • Manage and coach the eCommerce Site Producer in their daily work • Work closely with retail analytics team to determine the best products to merchandise and optimize accordingly. • Execute seasonal product launches and clearance events and be a global point of support to ensure success of international teams. • Own the online collections strategy execution and work with traffic drivers to ensure a great landing experience for all campaigns. • Build landing pages for BrooksRunning.com using Sitecore (Content Management System) and identify/report on bugs when needed. • Work with eCommerce Manager EMEA to evaluate site performance, execute and report on A/B testing, and maintain on-site personalization. • Review CRO metrics and identify areas where we can improve using Google Analytics reporting. • Partner closely with the Content Strategy Manager to execute against the editorial calendar and build campaign-oriented content. • Collaborate with the creative team to secure assets for ecommerce campaigns and product launches. • Update eCommerce Manager on new product attributes to help increase the shop-ability of BrooksRunning.com. • Implement and maintain site promotions, optimizing regularly towards eCommerce KPIs. • Perform QA/maintenance of our site to ensure all offers, landing pages, product tiles and copy are accurate. Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing or similar required. • Experience working within Demandware, Magento, Hybris, or other ecommerce storefront environment. • Experience with Sitecore or other Content Management System a plus. • Basic understanding of HTML and/or CSS a plus, but not required. • Minimum of 3 years of experience executing online customer experiences. • Prior management experience desired. • Keen attention to detail in planning, organization and execution of tasks. • Is a problem solver. Proactively seeks creative solutions or ways to “hack” current state to achieve better UX/UI. • Data oriented. Uses quantitative data, hierarchical understanding, and causal thinking to find answers. • Extremely proficient in core Microsoft Office products, especially Excel. • Experience with web analytics tools such as Google Analytics or other analytics tools. • Experience with A/B testing tools such as Optimizely or other similar tools. • Aptitude for organization, flexibility, and producing results. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, copy-writing experience a plus. • Strong customer focus/ability to anticipate and react to user needs. • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams to achieve necessary results. • Excellent interpersonal skills that inspire and build trust resulting in effective working relationships across the company. • Ability to anticipate how a decision made can affect our customers, our partners, our products or other departments’ operations and/or morale; “connecting the dots.” • Passionate participation in Brooks’ sports activities a plus, overridden by the ability to understand and empathize with the runner to develop loyal, engaging relationships with our customers and the Brooks community. • Embraces and lives the Brooks values!
