Your Job: You will own entire demand and supply planning for the Apparel wholesale and eCommerce business. As a Demand Planner you will work together with the EMEA Business Planning and Finance in creating and analyzing the Demand forecast to be approved in the S&OP Demand Review. Based on the agreed demand forecast, you will ensure on time supply planning while maintaining the right inventory level according to the supply chain targets. This position will partner closely with EMEA Business Planning, EMEA Logistics, EMEA Customer Service and Global Supply Planning to ensure the right product is in the right place at the right time in the right quantities to meet customer demand. Your Responsibilities: Demand Forecasting: • Develop demand forecasts using a combination of historical sales performance, financial targets, and countries’ sales forecasting as input • Own the Demand Forecast to be approved in S&OP and present the result to EMEA stakeholders and Global counterparts • Provide forecast visibility and performance as input to S&OP • Track forecast accuracy and recommend improved processes to improve accuracy Supply Planning: • Develop and maintain buy plans, submit and monitor purchase orders to ensure balanced demand & supply while maintaining cost and efficiency • Identify and evaluate key supply issues and work with cross-functional partners to develop alternative solutions that mitigate cost and customer service impacts • Provide visibility of apparel demand and supply in the S&OP • Understands the calendar process as it relates to our purchasing process • Seasonal Sample Purchase Order placement and delivery tracking. Organization of EMEA only Procurements and embellishing items for Events • Initiates and leads the development of short and long-term EMEA demand and supply with cost, efficiency and capacity constraints • Provide business planning and sales performance reporting to support product, sales, marketing, and senior management on seasonal, monthly, and ad hoc basis • Act as the main contact person for apparel demand and supply planning • Create process documentation for all areas of responsibility • Establish and maintain supportive relationships with cross-functional team to ensure effective communication of strategic and tactical issues. • Design, build, test and revise reports/dashboards to meet business needs • Special projects as assigned Qualifications: • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain or related field. • 3+ years of experience in supply chain management, demand planning, supply planning or inventory management required. • Strong computer skills with expertise in Microsoft Excel required. • Experience in the fashion / retail industry is preferred • Strong organizational skills; the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and an analytical, investigative approach to problem-solving. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, demonstrating effective listening through concise, clear verbal and written communication. • Fluency in English, other European language skills are a great plus. • Excellent interpersonal skills that inspire and build trust resulting in effective working relationships across the organization. • Passionate participation in Brooks’ sports activities a plus, overridden by the ability to understand and empathize with the runner in order to develop loyal, engaging relationships with our customers and the Brooks community. • Embraces and lives the Brooks values!
