Your Job: The PR & Influencer Specialist UK&IE is responsible for the local activation of our PR & media relations, influencer & community programmes and social media platforms. You will monitor and start conversations to build relationships with members of the Brooks community through social engagement. You will work closely with the North Region Marketing Manager, EMEA PR & Influencer Manager, Digital Media Manager and local PR agency to drive the community activation of our integrated marketing plan, to deliver Brooks business and marketing objectives. You will collaboratewiththe EMEA and local UK&IE marketing teams establish connections with other Community leads in the EMEA markets and build strong relationships with the UK&IE Sales, Tech Rep and Customer Service teams. Your Responsibilities: PR and Influencers: • Activate the PR, Influencer and Social Media strategy in UK&IE, in line with the EMEA strategy; be the lead contact point in market for the EMEA PR & Influencer Manager • Develop the EMEA PR plans into local market PR, Influencer and Community plans, adapting to create local market assets and ensure initiatives are integrated within the overarching Marketing plan • Manage the local PR agency, including briefing and development of all work, monthly reporting and regular status meetings; work with the agency on media outreach to pro-actively seek out opportunities, providing product and stories at key calendar moments to maximise coverage • Manage seeding for the Influencer and Community programmes ensuring product is ordered and distributed in a timely manner, aligned to key campaign stories and local brand moments • Build relationships with Media partners, our Influencers and Run Communities as an extension of the Brooks family; identify and connect with influencers and advocates to increase reach and engagement • Track performance against KPI framework, providing regular reports to Marketing Manager and EMEA marketing team • Support the Marketing Manager on broader Media partnership initiatives Digital Marketing and Social Media: • Adapt and implement digital marketing and social media activities, in accordance with the Global and EMEA marketing strategy • Participate in regular exchange and coordination of ideas within the UK&IE and EMEA Marketing Team • Proactive, creative involvement in digital communications and social media to drive brand visibility and engagement; grow, engage with and advocate for the Brooks audience by managing communities on branded social properties • Plan and develop the Social Media calendar ensuring campaign posts are delivered on time and on budget, localised where appropriate to maximise performance and ensuring content represents a continuous, relevant presence of the Brooks brand • Co-ordinate social media assets, production and adaptation of content, development of posts for both brand and product content; create positive, brand appropriate and engaging social copy and reply to users on all social platforms • Monitor conversations across social media, discover trending topics relevant to the product and brand, and address important mentions and questions through one on one communications • Analysis of data using Ads Manager, Google Analytics and Social Listening Tools to draw insights and recommendations for future planning and to optimize community management Your Qualifications: • Bachelors degree in marketing, communications or related field • 3+ years of relevant marketing experience client and/ or agency side (brand, footwear, retail & lifestyle experience, online & digital experience) • Good understanding of brand building and integrated marketing approach • Good knowledge of PR and Brand Communications • Excellent understanding and knowledge of Digital Communications and Social Media • Experienced with marketing & communications mix at country and/ or international level (ideally in an international environment) • Proven experience in creating digital campaigns and understanding digital media and consumer buying behavior • Excellent writing skills and understanding of media landscape (ideally has good media contacts) • Experience briefing agencies (or experience of responding to briefs) • Passionate about PR and translating “buzz” in to sales • Able to generate new ideas and creative solutions • Drive & energetic, trend-conscious, sport savvy • Flexibility to work on own initiative or within team and cross-functional framework • Excellent organizational and management skills: ability to multi-task, combining strategy and execution.
