Brooks is looking for a skilled CI & QA Analyst to join our DC team in Whitestown, IN as we enhance, update and sustain critical, strategic supply chain management systems and processes. In this position, you play a key role in global distribution operations by reporting, analyzing and making recommendations for best in class practices to drive distribution programs for Brooks product. As a member of our DC team, you will be knowledgeable about all DC processes to develop reporting used for building recommendations to streamline DC processes, cost management and compliance. You will collaborate with the DC leadership team to construct business cases with clearly defined requirements by providing financial analyses including calculated Returns on Investment (ROI).

Responsibilities
• Design reporting and perform in-depth analysis on DC processes and metrics to identify any productivity issues and make recommendations to drive operational efficiency, and reduce costs
• Establish baseline and target process metrics, facilitate brainstorming sessions with DC management, conduct Root Cause Analysis, and impact assessments. Create dashboard reporting for key stakeholders to report on KPI’s and operational performance metrics.
• Use DC performance and service metrics to identify gaps in operations. Lead improvement initiatives and projects with cross functional teams to solve operational issues
• Ensure all project outcomes and deliverables are implemented on time, on budget, and within scope
• Conduct periodic reviews of processes and monitor post-project implementation performance via audits, savings verifications and reporting to track achievement of business objectives and returns on investments
• Develop SOPs, create standardized reports, and conduct quarterly reviews to maximize operations, reduce costs and meet KPI’s.
• Track and monitor department KPIs; develop action plans for below standard performance and/or service
• Create and own a labor planning structure that meets goals and deadlines for inbound and outbound operations
• Initially in this role, you will lead in the testing of WMS/Operations functions and will ensure issues and problems surfaced in testing of processes and systems are tracked and resolved.
• Act as subject matter expert for Softeon (WMS) and provide additional training when necessary
• Push creative thinking beyond the boundaries of existing industry and company practices when analyzing data to provide creative and innovation solutions.
• Facilitate meetings with agendas that include clearly defined outcomes; follow up on assigned action items and next steps
• Communicate difficult/sensitive information identified from your reporting and analysis to appropriate management tactfully and in a timely manner
• Present complex technical data at appropriate detail for target audience (eg: DC management vs. line-level)
• Documentation of business processes and ongoing updates to documentation as processes evolve
• Prepare and update business reporting as requested by the DC leadership team
• Conduct ad hoc analyses on specific areas of operations.
• Monitor results of warehouse operation improvement initiatives.
• Maintain and publish standard reports for distribution operations.

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree (BA, BS) in Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain or equivalent experience) required.
• 5+ years of experience with logistics, operations, and/or analytical reporting
• Exceptional computers skills required: Microsoft Office (strong Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills)
• Proficiency and SQL reporting required
• Lean/5S experience a plus
• Strong enjoyment in handling and formatting large files of data
• Knowledge of distribution operations
