We are looking for a Warehouse Management System (“WMS”) Analyst to act as the site expert on warehouse management systems, responsible for day-to-day system maintenance and troubleshooting. You will be the first point of contact for assistance, questions, issues, etc. at the operations level. In this role, you will work with the DC Operations teams, IT, and other support groups to ensure optimal configurations for WMS conversions, enhancements, and new business requirements. You will also support other department initiatives that may interface with WMS systems. The WMS Analyst will support all aspects of the DC operations using existing WMS knowledge to drive efficient operations as well as overcoming any system hurdles. The WMS Analyst will support implementation, testing, deployment to production, documentation, training and maintenance of the WMS solution.

Responsibilities:

Develop a deep understanding of the DC Operations business processes and how they are enabled via the WMS and related systems. This includes receiving, put-away, waving, picking, packing, shipping, returns, and cycle-counting.

Identify and understand root cause analysis of exceptions and correct errors identified.

Develop training content and train associates on the standard operating procedures (SOP’s) and how to utilize the WMS conveyor control system and RF devices.

Monitor system usage and provide feedback to personnel on appropriate usage.

Support system implementations and upgrades, coordinate testing of system changes and lead deployment to production.

Troubleshoot problems reported by distribution center personnel via the ticketing system.

Collaborate with Information Technology and WMS software vendor to resolve system issues.

Set goals to provide continuous improvement in collaboration with DC leadership. Identify process and system changes to optimize operations and collaborate with Information Technology and the software vendor to implement changes.

Make system configuration changes using defined change management processes.

May be required to be “on call” outside of normal business hours in order to resolve system failures or other problems.

· Develop and maintain documentation including user guides, system and data interfaces, and controls for WMS.

· Manage and document system access roles and permissions including access provisioning. Meet all compliance requirements and documentation.

· Effectively communicate relevant WMS IT-related information to management.

Produce regular reports as required on a daily, weekly or monthly basis.

Act as the first line of support for WMS inquiries and/or other related computer related issues.

Other duties as required.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, IT, Logistics or other related degrees.

3+ years’ experience with warehouse management system for consumer goods or retail.

Must have been classified as either proficient or a super-user with a Warehouse Management System

Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Visio)

Must be proficient in SQL

Prior experience using Softeon is highly preferred, but knowledge of tier-1 WMS solutions (Manhattan Associates and/or Red Prairie/JDA) is a plus

Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to function in a fast-paced multi-functional environment where priorities change quickly

Self-starter with ability to work independently under pressure and react quickly to changing priorities

Ability to work in a professional manner, be flexible and handle interactions with all levels of organization

Demonstrated ability to communicate well with other members of the team and with non-technical users

Demonstration of innovation and initiative – always looking at improving our products and processes while also displaying a willingness to dive into the details and help out wherever necessary.
