Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (Other duties may be assigned on an as needed basis)

• Daily communication with domestic and overseas vendors to ensure calendar dates are met
• Work closely with design to ensure seasonal Tech Pack deadlines are met and Overviews and Tech Packs are kept up to date as needed
• Assist with the review and management of the seasonal Development Calendar to identify any issues with key deadlines
• Manage the Development WIP process including creation of the seasonal WIPs, ensuring all vendors are posting complete and updated WIPs on a weekly basis, reviewing the WIP data to ensure its complete and accurate and following up on status as needed
• Facilitate and monitor all 1st protos, photo samples, and sales samples EFDs
• Monitor and track status of all protos and photo samples.
• Manage Line List data applicable to the Product Manager and update accordingly
• Communicate Line List data updates with the Operations team
• Coordinate required fittings with the Technical Designer
• Work closely with Merchandising/Development teams to establish and update SMS process and protocol as needed
• Manage the entire SMS process including creation of the Sales Sample Order Breakdown, SMS Order Forms and SMS SKU’s
• Work closely with sales team to obtain salesmen sample order quantity per region and communicate/manage updates as needed
• Monitor SMS EFD’s with vendors and communicate status to Ops Dept
• Manage & maintain sample room and sample cage
• Facilitate and monitor sample request from sales, design and marketing departments
• Assist with the creation of seasonal catalogs including communication of photo sample status with Art Director/photographer, maintaining the Photo Shop list and catalog proofing for accuracy of part names, sku #’s, product info and images.
• Identify areas for improvement and recommend updates to departmental processes as needed

Job Requirements
Skills and Experience:

• Attention to detail, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
• Working knowledge of apparel manufacturing, design, product development and merchandising processes from the inception of design through production.
• Knowledge of garment construction standards and engineering, textiles/fabric, trims, finishing (wet & dry), and manufacturing methods.
• Ability to interpret design intent and offer alternative solutions, as needed.
• Experience and working knowledge of line planning and factory costing
• Proactive, self-motivated, and the ability to adhere to Product Development Calendar.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills
• Potential extended hours, domestic and international travel as required
