POSITION SUMMARY //
Tavik is looking for a Fit Tech to join our growing team! As a member of the development team, the Fit Tech handles product measurement details to assure the products have correct sizing, specs, scales, fits, ratios and accurate documentation of all products. The ideal candidate will have a background and knowledge of swimwear. Accountable for all specs, grading, and fittings at the highest level of producible and quality products, which meet the needs of the Company. Works under general direction from Product Manager and designer. Brings a track record of success in Fits and Specs.

RESPONSIBILITIES // The Fit Tech position will be handling all aspects of fits, grading, and specing from initial concept to finished production.

This includes, but is not limited to:
• Categories included swimwear and women’s
• Create and maintain specs and assist with technical design
• Sample evaluation with regards to fit and sewing construction
• Prepare protos and samples for fitting
• Perform garment wash/dry testing
• Create and maintain standard block, specs, and other reference materials as needed
• Work directly with the Design, Sourcing and Production teams
• Manage workload to maintain sample and production timing.
• Work closely with other team members to help manage overall workload for the department.
