Dainese is an Italian action sports brand that specializes in the research and development in protective gear and apparel for the motorcycling, the mountain biking, and the winter sports communities. In 2007, Dainese acquired AGV, which a leading manufacturer of motorcycle helmets in Europe. Now the two brands together are the only company to offer full head-to-toe protective gear for motorcyclists, and full Mountain Bike and Winter sports protection and functional apparel lines.

KEY ACCOUNT MANAGER SUMMARY:

Dainese USA Inc. Is looking for a Key Account Manager whom will oversee the Dainese group relationships with its most imnportnt clients. As the Key Account manager your mission is to provide an unmatched level of customer service. You will be an ambassador of the Dainese brand and everything we stand for: courage, trustworthiness, leadership, and style. The Key account manager takes the lead on building strong relationships with strategic partners. You will lead by example and relentlessly strive to make each customers experience uncommonly rewarding. The canidate must have a strong marketing background and be a real product expert of the Dainese brand, specificlaly in the winter sports and mountain bike segments.

This position is based out of our HQ in Costa Mesa, CA and will report directly to the Executive Vice President of Dainese USA Inc.

As the Key Account Manager, you will:

- Plan, develop and monitor sales activities;
- In conjunction with the marketing manager, planning, developing and executing marketing activities in the territory
- Combine marketing campaigns with sales activities.
- Implement a business action plan, ensuring the achievement of the objectives set.
- Provide regular reports of progress and forecasts.
- Conduct trade negotiations.
- Expand the relationships with existing customers by continuously proposing solutions that meet their objectives.
- Acquire a thorough understanding of key customer needs and requirements.
- Ensure the correct products and services are delivered to customers on time.
- Monitor and analyze competitors’ activities.
- Provide training to customers.


Job Requirements
The ideal candidate has a degree in Business (economics, marketing or similar), and has the following characteristics:

- 2 to 5 years’ experience in the role in the Ski goods industry, MTB industry will be a plus;
- Excellent command of Windows Operating System, Office Suite and the main Social Networks;
- Excellent organizational skills;
- Great product knowledge
- Ability in problem-solving and negotiation;
- Strong result-oriented approach
- Must possess strong time management skills in order to accomplish multiple tasks in a fast-paced environmentc
- Self motivated leader with strong entrepreneurial skills
- Innate customer centric mindset and strong market-aware vision


Availability for national travel is required - 20-30%.
