POSITION SUMMARY:
In order to accomplish this mission, we have an exciting opportunity as a Retail Buyer Admin in our Design and Development Center located in Irvine, CA. The primary responsibilities of the Retail Buyer Admin are to provide support and assistance to the buying team with a primary focus in PO entry and other general clerical duties. This 3- 4 month temporary assignment is a great opportunity to build on the fundamentals of retail buying, allowing entry level candidates an opportunity to begin a career in buying or merchandising.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Provide various administrative support tasks related to the merchandising and item lifecycle process.
• Gain an understanding of merchandising process and product life cycle.
• Manage replenishment purchase orders based on production time lines and store needs for both 5.11 and third party product.
• Build relationships with retail field, 5.11 product team and third party vendors.
• Obtain information from store managers and sales records to ensure proper stock levels, and quantify fast-moving and slow-moving goods.
• Research customer demands and trends by processing store sales and inventory reports, and make product recommendations.
• Assist in merchandise report creation and distributes to relevant parties.
• Researches sales and inventory results by division and class down to the SKU level.
• Manage and analyze stock levels and order points using computers and statistics.
• Works with the retail teams to anticipate changes in customer demand for particular styles.
