Job Summary:
Civil Clothing Inc. in Torrance is seeking a Senior Production Coordinator. The Senior Production Coordinator will support the production-planning in the Private Label department. Duties include but not limited to general clerical task such as data entry, correspondence preparation and maintenance, generating standard database reports, system validation, and follow up related to special projects.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Performing accounts reconciliations for accuracy in reports, figures and postings
• Maintain data and updates projects, reports
• Issue Purchase Orders to factories based on information obtained from Design & Product Development
• Sit in on all fittings for samples to ensure work was completed correctly, and provide feedback to internal and external parties
• Responsible for all vendor communication, once you've picked up where Product Development has left off
• Identify issues pre-PO, bringing them to the attention of PD and Design, to ensure no issues during the production process
• Oversee the Production department to ensure that all daily tasks are completed in a timely manner, working closely and addressing any issues or questions that may arise
• Interact with and monitor design on product development task
• Facilitate communication between vendors
• Document all charge-backs and non-compliance issues for senior management to review
• Ensure all products are in compliance with CIVIL policies and procedures
• Manage the pre-costing process which includes analyzing design cards, markers, fabric specs, and trim specs to estimate the most realistic and accurate pricing for all styles
• Work closely with art department to take over fabric approval and lab dip process once line is presented
• Work with all vendor/agents to receive standard WIP reports weekly
• Coordinate the efforts of product development with weekly meetings involving: Design, Planning, Technical Design, Fabric
• Familiar with Vendor Compliance forms with companies such as Pac Sun, Tillys, Fashion Nova, etc.
• Assist with publishing and distribution of Purchase Orders and updating daily’s schedule to include: PO’s #, styles, fabric, etc.
• Assists the Production Manager on a daily basis by providing requested status updates and discussing scheduling plans
• Issue Import PO’s and prepare Import Production packages
• Excellent follow up skills
• Other tasks may be assigned

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• 6+ years of demonstrable Private Label experience
• Require process control and infusion
• Familiarity of private label/wholesale
• Communicate with Production Department and Operations regarding status of product/logistics.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite such as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook or related software
• Proficient in QuickBooks (A MUST)
• Understanding of Tech Design is helpful
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, a people person with positive attitude
• Outstanding organizational skills and attention to details
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment
• Ability to pay close attention to detail and coordinate various activities simultaneously
• Ability to communicate and work well with co-workers, and business contacts in a courteous and professional manner

Education and Experience:
• High School Diploma or equivalent, Bachelor degree preferred, related certificate helpful
• 6+ years of experience with strong knowledge in Private Label

Physical Requirements:
• ¬The employee will be required to: read; communicate verbally and/or in written form; remember and analyze certain information; and remember and understand certain instructions or guidelines, basic math
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to stand, walk, and sit. The employee is frequently required to use hands to touch, handle, and feel, and to lift, pull, push and reach with hands and arms
• The associate must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25lbs
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus
• The employee may work in the low or high temperatures, Outdoor elements such as precipitation and wind. Noisy environment
