Ethika is seeking an analytical and motivated individual to take on the role of Inventory Analyst. This individual will report directly to the VP of Finance. The Inventory Analyst is responsible for the collection, analysis, and forecast of inventory data, in an on-going effort to increase overall purchasing productivity within inventory management. The ideal candidate has excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills while demonstrating self-motivation to support and enable the company’s rapid growth.
• Review historical sales trends, research demand drivers, prepare forecast data, leverage statistical forecast models, and evaluate forecast results
• Prepare all relevant materials to support and facilitate inventory planning analysis
• Utilize a collaborative and consensus approach by working cross departmental to understand all relevant and qualitative inputs into the forecast
• Investigate cross-functional discrepancies to reconcile significant variances and refine the forecast model to reflect updated assumptions
• Develop and submit demand forecasts at multiple levels of aggregation and time horizons to drive the supply plan
• Provide input in developing inventory buying strategies on existing items, new products, and product phase-outs
• Closely coordinate and communicate action plans with inventory planning
• Maintain demand planning data and models, ensuring data cleanliness and monitoring forecast error
• Generate complex automated reporting and forecasting models to track sales trends
• Collaborate with all departments to understand demand drivers and empiracle data
• Review sales trends, prepare statistical forecast, and plan seasonal purchases accounting for on-hand and inbound inventory levels

• 2-4 years of inventory planning experience
• BA/BS college degree or its equivalent, Math, Economics, Engineering, Operations, Finance other math-intensive degrees preferred
• Expert knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point)
• Advanced reporting skills in Excel (VLOOKUP, SUMIF, Pivot Tables, IF Statements)
• General understanding of Full Circle or similar ERP preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to convey complex information to a broad audience
• Ability to take initiative and work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and within a team environment
• Excellent group presentation skills
