POSITION SUMMARY:

Our company is currently experiencing rapid growth and we are seeking a highly organized and ambitious Associate Product Developer. This individual will report to the Director of Product and is responsible for supporting the Development team, ensuring organization and timely execution of product development initiatives. The ideal candidate has the willingness to learn and passion to grow within the department.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Maintain manufacturer relationships and ensure thorough communication on all product development
- Ensure all development comments and concerns are clearly communicated and resolved before production
- Efficiently liaise between product development management, designers, vendors and factory
- Collaborate with development innovation and fabric sourcing in line with brand values
- Support and recommend solutions for product fittings and quality control
- Support design and production of style number creation and descriptions
- Assist with the preparation, review and archive of strike off’s and finished samples
- Support in the review and uploading of design tech packs
- Review and coordinate with daily updates in the development tracker
- Assist with all misc. projects and support production team to ensure a smooth work flow

Qualifications:

- 2-3 years experience in product development
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point)
- Apparel design and technical construction
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, highly organized and manage time effectively
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must have strong attention to detail
- Adobe Creative Suite is a plus
