POSITION SUMMARY:
The Brand Content Manager is a key member of Ethika’s brand marketing department and will be driving the content efforts for the company in conjunction with the Brand Director and CEO in order to maintain a high visual standard for the brand
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience creating branded content through still imagery, video, story telling and copy. He/she must possess a strong understanding of streetwear culture and action sports.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Review content acquired through any medium and provide feedback to creative director
• Police the entire organization to adhere to the brand guidelines
• Manage creative and visuals for the ethika.com website (marquees, mini banners, category images, about us page, icon logo, f.a.n.shop. ethika life) media buying team, amazon site and office systems
• Support retail marketing team in creative needs for our retail accounts
• Assist creative director in managing any other projects or workload needed. (parties, image reviews, template building, department cleanups and processes, etc
• Gathering and managing of social media content and assets for Instagram
• Presenting, obtaining approvals, and managing key decision points, with creative director, from other departments that need creative input and approvals
• Assisting with imagery and copy for annual campaigns, season brief, concept brief, photoshoot brief, line sheets, brand decks, sales collateral, weekly drops, collaborations, licensing, product roadmap, brand identity book
• Other duties include: selecting images, color editing, sizing and storage management
• Creation and maintenance of annual marketing calendars
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
• Minimum 4 years of content creation and/or brand marketing experience
• Background and experience in youth marketing, streetwear and action sports culture
• Intermediate to advanced skill level in Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, Excel
• Strong organizational and time management skills, as well as an attention to detail
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Self-starter with a positive “can-do” attitude
