About the job
HUF is seeking a Marketing Director to oversee global brand development and marketing for the company. This role reports to the CEO and will be located in Orange County, California in our Irvine–area offices.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (Other duties may be assigned on an as needed basis.)
• Owns and evangelizes strategic branding at HUF – our brand is everything to us
• Drive’s HUF’s use of innovative digital marketing strategies – creatively connecting our team/ambassador content with our retailers and consumers
• Collaborates with the Product/Merchant team and the Sales team to have a strong impact
• Seeks to understand our retail partners’ needs and help them tell our brand stories with a goal of shared-success
• Directs the development and execution of comprehensive, measurable strategic marketing plans to meet goals and objectives of the company
• Leads the development of creative briefs to inform our asset and marketing program development – to ensure brand standards are drive our unique voice in the world
• Teaches and evangelizes the use of digital marketing tools, techniques, & KPIs
• Oversees the development and maintenance of marketing budgets; prepares reports as needed
• Works closely with the Director of Ecommerce to have a unified brand voice across our digital footprint
• Develops and implements aggressive and creative marketing campaigns, promotions, and programs
• Directs, coordinates, and supervises the development, design, and production of promotional and collateral materials
• Oversees development of plans, programs, and promotions to improve brand awareness and authenticity
• Directs the coordination, management, and communication of market research and competitive analysis.
• Develops, maintains, and manages consistent corporate image throughout all marketing and promotional materials and product lines.
• Hires, trains, supervises, motivates, and develops marketing staff; manages schedules and workflow
• Manages external agencies and vendors ensuring consistency of deliverables and managing associated budgets.
• Assigns duties and monitors quality of work; assures staff conforms to organizational policies and procedures and government regulations.
• Provides day-to-day guidance and oversight of subordinates; actively works to promote and recognize performance.
• Monitors overall activities of the communications department; capitalizes on opportunities, identifies problem areas and directs corrective actions
• Consistently represents the values of a premium brand in all actions
