Job Description

The Visual Merchandising Manager will create and oversee the company’s visual merchandising ‘program’. In particular, focus on driving the branded consumer experience in our retail partners’ and distributors stores with creative calendars, POP, creative visual display, concept corners, windows, etc. Also, the ability to work across our few retail stores will be helpful.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (Other duties may be assigned on an as needed basis.)

• Create the ‘system’ and calendar for visual merchandising and in-store experience for the HUF and Lakai brands
• Support merchandising, styling, floor & window planning execution, replenishment, launches and updates
• Manage the visual merchandising, fixturing and windows budget
• Work with sales Teams for retail opportunities and activations.
• Manage all rack, fixture and POP programs for retail stores
• Source / manage / execute all approved designs with approved vendors
• Coordinate retail events
• Maintain inventory of marketing assets located in warehouse
• Train, coach, and direct sales force and customers on merchandise changes and standards
• Assist in growing outside support team (at Retail managers, reps, sales)
• Perform daily marketing tasks and needed marketing items to promote brand. Brand promotion, gaining new followers, etc…
• Assist with tradeshow planning and executing.
• Tradeshow booth set up, tear down - marketing activations at tradeshows.
• Support in creating, organizing and executing events.
• Additional duties as assigned.


Job Requirements

• Bachelor degree in business, marketing, or project management preferred.
• 3-4 years of visual merchandising/marketing experience in a consumer-focused industry – apparel experience is preferred
• Highly organized and detail oriented – owns and manages the calendar for global coordination and communication of visual merchandising assets & deployment
• Candidate must be hard-working, dedicated, organized, and detail-oriented
• Experience pulling internal resources together to ensure timely results, overseeing several projects at once
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in use of Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint – as well as visual merchandising tools
• Full right to work in the U.S. on a permanent, unrestricted basis
