Overview of the Position:

The successful S+OP Analyst is responsible for leading the company with smart insights and recommendations to help us make great decisions – a great sense of curiosity is important for this role!

Some of the tasks include contributing sales data tracking, reporting, and analytics across global wholesale as well as our Ecommerce businesses and retail stores. Primary responsibilities include development of analytical and forecasting methods and strategies for assessing large amounts of data, collecting for and maintaining data files for analysis, analysis of data, disseminating data results, compiling and preparing reports on key account sell-thru, suggesting adjustments and revisions to forecasts and planning to improve sales and profitability, participating and presenting informational sessions for staff to explain sales trends, and serves as the department’s point person for accessing, maintaining and retrieving data from various sources, preparing data and reports for forecasting, preparing ad hoc reports, collecting data from external sales reps and providing overall sales operations support.

The position interacts with functions throughout the company including Sales, Ecommerce, Retail, Merchandising, Finance, and Operations. The position requires a high level of self-direction and works under general supervision. The ideal candidate must complete work accurately and timely, work well in a deadline-driven, fast-paced environment, and have the ability to work with defined processes and routine while also having the ability to shift gears, when needed, when priorities change.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

Analytics and Reporting

• Be the source of “one truth” for the company
• Create and maintain dashboards, scorecards, key performance indicators and reports.
• Develops, supports, and administers business intelligence data.
• Using data identifies and recommends changes to business processes to increase efficiency, reduce loss and create new revenue-generating business opportunities.
• Leverages internal learning, benchmarks and category/business knowledge to provide a bigger picture context to analysis.
• Provides actionable recommendations for opportunities that support business objectives identified through ongoing program and customer measurement.
• Analyzes and determines what data trends mean. Comprehends and communicates the importance of the data towards strategic business initiatives.
• Extracts and transforms data from various data sources in support of business requirements.
• Use data to create models that depict trends in the customer base.
• Uses statistical methods to analyze data and generate useful business reports.
• Manages the data quality and integrity.
• Continuously search for opportunities, suggest adjustments and revisions to forecasts and plans based on analysis to improve sales and profitability
• Support sales and merch team with sales data and reports in preparation for sales meetings, events and other sales-related meetings
• Manage Shopify POS for retail stores
• Manage DOMO business intelligence system and take the lead advanced analyst

Forecasting & Planning – Buy Processes
• Lead analytics and strategic analyses on buy process for collections and seasons – including comp analyses, drop recommendations, margin variances, etc.
• Set up and prepare templates and reports for monthly and yearly shipping goals to support management’s ability to forecast; coordinate and aggregate data for team
• Develop, maintain, monitor, and track seasonal forecasting templates and communicate status to goals
• Lead key account inventory and demand planning with replenishment planning modeling and inventory analysis. Projects future product demand

Sales Operations
• Work to create transparency around the company’s ability to ship on time and in full
• Performs other duties as assigned.
