About the job

The Key Account Manager will work closely with the Global Sales Director to develop the short and long term growth strategies & operating plans for the Key Account Channel in the US market. Once built, this role owns the execution of these plans and is responsible for delivering the annual growth and profitability targets in brand accretive manner.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:
• Works with Global Sales Director to develop long term strategy and short term operating plans
• Manage/build professional relationships with the buying & DMM teams
• Create annual Key Account Plans for each partner
• Create annual revenue/operating budgets for Key Account business
• Consistently mine sell thru data to identify revenue opportunities and then execute
• Identify and execute on opportunities to improve ‘go out’ margin
• Coordinate/manage day to day operations to deliver the Key Account business
• Identify and execute on new distribution opportunities
• Work closely with accounts to identify & execute on existing and new product/category opportunities
• Identify/Execute on At-Once Revenue opportunities
• Coordinate & conduct Quarterly Business Reviews with each key account
• Active Sales Management which drives partners to exceed growth targets
• Ensure brand positioning & marketing at each account is aligned with Huf Global
• Create brand ambassador & training programs to engage sales associates
• Identify ‘regional test’ opportunities (shop in shop, local marketing, etc.)
• Provide market/competitor feedback to Merch team

Cross-Functional Execution:
• Work closely with Operations team to ensure product is delivered on time and fulfillment targets are achieved
• Work with Global Merchandising team to identify & execute on profitable & manageable SMU
• Work with Marketing team to ensure we are executing on the timely delivery of necessary marketing assets (P.O.P, fixtures, Digital & Print Media assets)
• Work with Accounts Receivable team to achieve timely collection and release of future orders

Deliverables:
• Achieve quarterly/ yearly sales targets set by the management team
• Meet/exceed Gross Margin & Profitability targets
• Annual Key Account Plans
• Ensure Huf assortment depth & representation is meaningful and appropriate relative to our competition.
