About the job

As the Email Marketing Manager, you will be directly responsible for the day-to-day execution of our marketing campaigns that drive revenue and engagement. In this role you will also be responsible for data science and segmentation, working closely with the team to review and optimize campaigns. The ideal candidate has a background in data science and has worked closely with stakeholders to solve business problems, especially in marketing. The ideal candidate has a strong track record in cross-functional communication, analytical thinking, understanding customer motivations, project management, and can take on a proactive approach towards these initiatives.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
• Oversee the day-to-day management of the email deployment process from start to finish
• Develop cross-channel (e.g., email, sms, fan engagement and content marketing) plans to achieve business targets; execute & measure success to report business impact & drive ongoing planning
• Identify audience behavior to create targeted segments for optimized performance
• Work with our current agency through all rounds of proofing, changes and final deployment.
• Work with the Creative team to develop a deep understanding of what resonates with our customers and optimize content/messaging accordingly
• Collaborate with Creative, Digital Sales, Product, and Development teams to test and optimize every touchpoint of the customer’s journey
• Approach initiatives with a customer-first mindset aligning all goals directly back to a positive experience
• Produce complex automated flows using audience-based and behavior-based segmentation
• Help build a best-in-class Lifecycle Marketing program
• Strong analytical skills with data driven approach; analytical thinker with a depth of knowledge in managing audience segmentation, insights development, and performance metrics

Job Requirements:
• 2-3 years experience in Email Marketing and CRM
• Knowledge of email best practices including deliverability, personalization, segmentation, testing, and reporting
• A strong interest in segmentation and a desire to understand the ‘who’, and not just the ‘how’, a campaign’s audience performed
• Strong working knowledge of HTML/CSS
• E-commerce apparel experience
• Someone who thrives in fast-paced environments
• Works through challenges and has a “can-do” attitude
• A creative thinker with a yearning to innovate
• Experience in Klayvio a plus
• Knowledge of Adobe CS – Photoshop/Illustrator
