Reporting to the VP, Digital Lab the Sr. Director, Digital Marketing will provide thought leadership driving best practice strategy that results in accelerated digital growth and supports VF’s ‘Always On’ digital marketing strategy. Lead and develop a growing team of internal digital SME’s, including Mobile, Social, Search, Email and Loyalty. This person will drive strategies for traffic generation, digital attribution, partnering with media operations team to roll out a data management platform. This person will advise best practices for brand storytelling, emerging digital marketing technologies with the goal of helping to create a seamless digital experience for our consumers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Be an expert on the digital marketing landscape, including loyalty and life time value of consumers.
- Lead strategic partnerships with vendors (Apple, Google, Facebook, Instagram etc).
- Support execution of the ‘Always On’ digital marketing strategy and help to advance/evolve it.
- Contribute to VF initiatives in CLM, DMP, and digital traffic.
- Identify and deliver innovative capabilities around digital marketing and loyalty.
- Work directly with all VF brands to help build the vision, while also providing an expert point of view on everyday consumer connection challenges.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of social media platforms, loyalty, email, mobile and consumer engagement best practices and digital traffic driving techniques (both online and in-store).
- Network extensively with external vendors/partners that will support key elements of the overall digital strategy.
- Motivate and inspire individuals and teams, with the ability to work and influence cross-functionally.
- Develop and refine global marketing KPI reports to add value to all VF brands.
- In partnership with analytics teams, mine the data to cull actionable insights for all VF brands.
- Time spent will generally split between 20% internal Digital Team, 20% external vendors/seminars/conferences etc., 60% VF brand partnership formally and informally helping brands create a common vision across digital.
