Richer Poorer is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to help grow and manage sales as we expand our wholesale distribution in 2019 and beyond. Reporting to the Sales Operations Director, the Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for facilitating Men’s and Women’s apparel growth within the assigned territory. The Regional Sales Manager will also be responsible for prospecting new accounts and growing a target list of accounts in line with overall company financial goals. There is a primary focus on Sales in this position. Additionally, the Regional Sales Manager will provide directional leadership to the inside Sales team. The qualified candidate must have a can-do attitude and work well in a team environment.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Build and manage a sales territory that meets and exceeds both sales goals and customer experience expectations
• Work closely with Sales Operations Director to develop strategy and identify new markets
• Establish strong relationships with accounts
• Ensure that the CRM process is followed and being actively driven by sales team
• Manage and maintain CRM tracking, reporting, and sales tracking
• Partner with marketing organization to drive customer acquisition and account retention
• Report to senior management on sales metrics, opportunities and risks
• Ability to travel and attend tradeshows

REQUIREMENTS

• BA/BS degree in business or a related field
• 5-7 years of sales experience in business to business environment
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Must be comfortable executing a high volume of inbound/outbound phone calls
• Experience reporting to a senior management team
• Ability to maintain a positive and upbeat attitude at all times
• Strong work ethic
• Ability to work in self-directed, fast-paced environment
• Highly proficient computer skills including CRM systems, MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Demonstrate leadership qualities on sales team: Lead by example with professionalism, reliability, and accountability.
• Ability to problem solve, understand impact, identify root case, determine resolution and make recommendations
