Iron & Resin is in search of an Ecommerce Marketing Manager to join the team in Ventura, CA.

Born in a small, Southern California, blue-collar beach town, graced with world-class point breaks and seaside racetracks, where ghosts of a once towering oil industry still linger in the shadows. Iron & Resin is the brainchild of several friends who, after decades of collective experience building successful clothing brands, decided to turn back the clock and start anew. The result is a small, hand built collection of goods that draws heavily upon the founder’s own lifestyles and experiences.

Today we operate as a wholesale business, and a direct-to-consumer business through ecommerce and three physical retail locations. POSITION SUMMARY //
We are looking for a tech-savvy Ecommerce Marketing Manager with a background in Sales/Digital Sales, Marketing or Business. The successful candidate will be instrumental in further developing our digital strategy and will be the thought leader in helping steer us towards more digitally led marketing activities and growth. The person in this role has an eye for what will appeal to customers and uses an innovate approach to increase customer traffic and online sales.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES //
• Deepen relationships with social community and ecommerce customers by developing effective, personalized campaigns, and insight-driven initiatives
• Deliver outstanding customer service; supervise Customer Service and Order Fulfillment teams
• Maintain agency partnerships and collaborate with creative department to deliver engaging content creation
• Continually optimize online spending to focus on the areas with the biggest ROI
• Engage community in product development cycle to increase product success and sell-through
• Identify new digital and technology solutions that can help accelerate growth online and in-store
• Monitor site analytics and implement strategies to drive conversion and growth
• Research and formulate ways to optimize user experience
• Direct development partners to maintain website security and performance
• Maintain working knowledge of best practices in digital marketing
• Lead development of tailored marketing campaigns

Job Requirements

• Strong leadership skills and ability to influence cross-functionally
• Ability to develop winning strategies which produce step changes in business results
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead & motivate others through the conveying of compelling visions that are consistent with and build on the interest and strategies of the organization
• Commercially savvy with a good understanding of drivers of profitability
• Ability to be flexible and work with ambiguity; self-directed
• Comfortable with using data to communicate results and refine strategies
• Experience using reporting tools to extract insights (e.g. Google Analytics, Facebook Insights)
• Strong collaborator; able to quickly research solutions and work with diverse stakeholders to plan and execute social and digital plans
• Excellent project management skills, able to plan effectively, time management and the ability to delegate appropriately

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS //
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
• 4+ years of experience of web development or digital management
• Previous supervisory experience
• Experience with Google Analytics, UX and Adobe
• Working knowledge of inventory and logistics procedures
• Retail knowledge/experience a plus
• Experience with technology platforms (Springboard, Shopify, others) a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities
