Position: Bookkeeper

Reports to: Controller

JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Bookkeeper is responsible for processing the day to day accounting activities for HYLETE including accounts payable, accounts receivable, banking and general ledger. This includes organizing, maintaining and auditing the accounting activities and records. A strong understanding of basic accounting is essential as well as proficiency in Excel (vlookups, pivot tables, formulas). The Bookkeeper should be organized, detail-oriented and a team player.

• Receives inventory in accounting software

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:

This is a 30-40 hours per week full-time position starting at $22 to $25 per hour. Standard business hours from Monday to Friday. Potentially may be asked to work overtime or weekends during peak seasons.

Required Education and Experience:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or similar field a plus but not required
• 2+ years of experience in accounting
• Knowledge of ERP systems (Netsuite) a plus but not required
• Computer skills: Excel/Word
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
