Rastaclat is in search of a Product Graphic Designer II to join the team in Long Beach, CA.
POSITION SUMMARY //
Graphic Designer II plays a vital role in the creation of Rastaclat product. Candidate preforms necessary functions to design seasonal Rastaclat products including: designing, branding and innovation.
Ideal candidate is experienced at designing within a team setting and executing to project timelines. Candidate should be self-motivated and able to multi task, as well as having strong leadership and problem solving skills. Being well organized and detail oriented is essential.
We are a small, experienced group. This role requires excellent communication skills in design, oral/presentation and written communication. Candidate should expect daily communication and teamwork between cross-functional internal departments.
This is an ideal role for a team player that desires to grow along with an immerging company. Interest in accessories, lifestyle, sneakers, athletics and creative culture are all valued. Positive attitude is essential.
RESPONSIBILITIES // may include, but are not limited to;
• Product design, graphic creation and tech pack execution of Rastaclat products.
• Timely delivery of design projects to meet Rastaclat key milestones according to product calendar and special project timelines.
• Ability to interpret concepts and create designs according to brief. Designs with firm understanding of Rastaclat’s core demographic, culture, business segments and retail partners.
• Contribution to the seasonal aesthetic of product through research of: color, materials, fabrication, trim finishing techniques, print and pattern concepts.
• Trend analysis and creation of product relevant stories through written concept directions/mood boards/color palettes and presentations. Responsible for pitching concept direction and stories.
• Collaborations within the cross-functional team setting (Marketing, Production, Sales) to achieve company objectives for seasonal, quick strike, and any unique business concepts.
• Assisting in product photography for archiving, cataloging, and graphic asset creation.
• Design projects such as; bracelet product, graphics, tech packages, packaging, mood boards, color palettes, POP displays, product photography, and catalogs.
