Rastaclat is searching for a passionate, talented Art Director who aligns with our brand values, connects with our customer, and is a team player. Candidate will lead a cross-functional team that is responsible for the execution of the brand strategies, from launching new products to driving the daily voice across all touchpoints. The Art Director must have a background in graphic design, and the willingness to roll up their sleeves and do whatever it takes to help your team succeed. The individual needs to thrive in a fast-paced environment, ideate quickly and solve problems in an innovative way. This role will work closely with the Creative Director to ensure all creative content is authentic to the brand and high performing. Candidate must have a strong working knowledge of the streetwear, skate, women’s, and sports markets.

RESPONSIBILITIES //

Management:

• Lead and collaborate, managing a team of graphic designers, photographers, copywriters and content developers to deliver high level creative content that is on brand, on trend, and on time.
• Execute and manage seasonal action calendars, while proactively seeking opportunities to elevate the company’s design deliverables.
• Manage 3rd party and agency partnerships for creative direction and needs.
• Manage content requests from internal and 3rd parties by maintaining a digital asset management system.
• Help create internal workflow and development efficiencies for scaled growth and cross-functional optimization for the creative division of the marketing department.

Creative Marketing / Graphic Design / Content Development:

• Maintain and communicate an authentic, consistent, and cohesive brand image and message.
• Develop elevated, authentic, consistent, and engaging content for use in all creative marketing sectors i.e. website campaigns, weekly emails, digital advertisements, video content, social media, POP.
• Lead creative direction/directives for the UGC Program as required/needed.
• Oversee and manage photoshoots and video shoots with due diligence, sourcing of 3rd party consultants and oversee budgets.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• A multifaceted conceptual, and visual background.
• 2-4 years previous work experience in Art Direction, Creative Management or relevant experience.
• A minimum of 4 years previous work experience in Graphic Design before your current management role.
• 1-2 years minimum experience leading product-based photography campaigns.
• Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
• Goal-oriented, organized team player.
• Encouraging to team and staff; able to mentor and lead.
• Self-motivated and self-directed.
• Excellent interpersonal relationship skills.
• In-depth understanding of company key clients, markets and their position in the industry.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; must be a listener, a presenter, and a people-person.
• Adobe Suite, Video Editing, Microsoft Office.
• Experience with Website coding a plus.
