Rastaclat is looking for a passionate, highly skilled digital expert to bring our brand mission of Spreading Positivity to life. The Social Media Manager will be primarily responsible for overseeing and managing all social media platforms and developing the strategy for the Rastaclat digital community. Reporting to the Digital Marketing Director, the Social Media Manager will work closely with key cross functional management as well as global partners to deliver a consistent message across all channels. In addition to driving strategy, they will be responsible for contributing to the team culture that will drive performance.
⏵ Account Management: Oversee and manage planning, content calendars, reporting, and optimizations across all social platforms. Monitor discussions, posts, and comments to promote engagement and growth.
⏵ Creative and Brand Development: Work with Creative Director to create daily innovative and on-brand posts that will engage our audience. Preserve brand voice across platforms as well as develop creative ways to maintain brand loyalty amongst our social following.
⏵ Publishing to Platforms: Write and edit engaging share text for posts. Publish content to all social platforms with best practices in mind.
⏵ Reporting and Analytics: Work with Global Digital & eCommerce Director to provide consistent reporting on all social pages, set growth targets and identify areas of improvement. Advise team on best practices for paid media campaigns.
⏵ Social Asset Curation: Gather on-brand content from micro influencers, paid endorsers and other related entities to post. Attend shoots and events as needed to capture content for Instagram stories.
⏵ Content Strategy & Partnerships: Work with Brand Marketing Director & Global Digital & eCommerce Director to ideate unique strategy that will utilize social platforms as a means to amplify the Seek The Positive brand message.
⏵ Talent Relations: Work with marketing and PR teams to develop and track influencer initiatives. Manage talent communications as it relates to social.
⏵ Community & Engagement: Manage Rastaclat community, user generated content encourage engagement & referrals within the community.
⏵ Bachelor’s degree
⏵ 5+ years of experience in social media management, strategy and execution
⏵ Deep understanding of social content trends and platforms
⏵ Strong brand development background
⏵ Creative and able to think on their feet. Enjoy working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and willing to roll up their sleeves
⏵ Preference for experience within sneaker culture, action & traditional sports
⏵ Excellent communication skills – both spoken and written
