Asphalt Yacht Club is expanding and we’re in search of a new Global Sales Manager to join their team in Vista, CA.

With the brand experiencing tremendous growth, we’re now looking for the right person to join our team as a key member of its management team.

POSITION SUMMARY //
The role’s primary objective is to manage and develop the Global Key Account Channel and Distribution businesses. The Global Sales Manager will oversee the management of AYC’s current account base including Key Accounts, Core Skate, Lifestyle as well as contributing to trade marketing strategies, advertising, promotional programs, and discounting. This role is accountable for achievement of revenue, gross margin and distribution targets that form part of the annual company plan targets.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES //
• Develop, implement and facilitate annual sales plans for the company that execute the agreed brand and retailer investment strategies that form part of the annual company plan.
• Create the AYC sales footprint throughout the United States and facilitates a distributor management program that grows global market penetration. This includes overseeing the prospecting of new accounts – including both inside and outside sales reps.
• Manages international distributor performance and develops distributor business plans to improve revenue and regional trade marketing execution. Takes appropriate actions to ensure the distributors used by AYC are actively growing and are consistent with the company plan and brand strategy
• Controls annual trade spend budgets for key accounts and distributors, develops relevant promotional programs with retailers and distributors to drive brand and revenue growth.
• Develops and prepares investment criteria and programs to support global distribution goals and negotiates trading terms with key account buyers and distributors.
• Plays an active role in merchandise planning and leads the development of any activities that supports brand activation and improves our presence on retail floor spaces.
• Sets distribution and volume targets for all brand activity and launch activity across all accounts and distributors - measures and reports progress and takes effective actions to ensure initiatives are undertaken to achieve agreed results.
• Coordinates internal meetings with Marketing and Creative teams to develop marketing materials, evaluates Return on Investment and provides key account feedback on launch activities.
