Technical Support/Customer Service Specialist

KBS Golf Shafts, forged from Tour player feedback, features the most advanced steel shaft technology in the golf industry. KBS, manufactured by Femco Steel Technology (FST), has set a new standard in steel shafts with its unprecedented growth and acclaim. A close business partner to industry leaders that include Titleist, Callaway, Cobra, PXG and TaylorMade; KBS is one of today’s fastest growing shaft brands and is looking to expand its team with a new Technical Support Team Member.

This will be a full-time position located in our Carlsbad, CA office location. Included in the compensation package will be full benefits (Health, Dental, Vision, 401k) and competitive pay.

POSITION OVERVIEW
KBS offers a fast paced and rewarding work environment that fosters teamwork. We are seeking a motivated self-starter with a professional demeanor and exceptional communication skills. This position will support many areas of our business; however the core-focus will be contributing to customer service. The Technical Support Specialist will act as a brand ambassador and will communicate directly with consumers to provide a variety of service roles. A strong understanding of golf components along with company operations and the KBS product line will be fundamental. The ideal candidate will possess a general interest in the golf business and equipment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
• Manage daily customer service inquiries via phone, email, chat and social media
• Respond professionally to address all inquiries, questions, and complaints
• Facilitate warranty concerns including returns and replacements
• Assist in the R&D and testing process by compiling and analyzing data
• Compile reports on both Tour usage and various technical projects
• Support the marketing and communications team as needed
• Strongly skilled in Sales, and Operations field(s) respectively.
• Responsible in assisting with all KBS Boulder, CO office sales, operations and needs.
• Looking for candidates that will assist with our rapidly-growing company.
• Exceptional time management skills.
• Must have the capabilities to blend his/her skills into the DNA of the brand.
• Must have a strong work ethic/positive personality.
• Strong Knowledge of Golf, the Golf Industry and Golf Equipment

QUALIFICATIONS
•1-2 years professional work experience in the golf industry
•Fluency in golf equipment and components a MUST
•Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with specific emphasis on phone interactions. Candidate must also exhibit exceptional writing skills.
•Demonstrates ability to adapt and learn in a fast paced work environment
•Proficient with Microsoft Office suite, specifically Word, PowerPoint and Excel
