Hoonigan Industries is looking for a full-time Apparel Merchandiser & Developer. Candidates must be very organized, self-motivated, detail orientated, have excellent written/oral communication skills and a POSITIVE attitude.

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of the entire soft good development process from design concept through production. This role will oversee the product apparel product segmentation, trend, fit, production, manufacturing, trim details and design approvals for all apparel, rider gear exclusives, special makes, e commerce range, headwear, and accessories categories with our vendors and licensed partnerships.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS //
• Minimum of 6 years merchandising and product management experience with an outstanding record of managing product from beginning concept to completion
• Work closely with design team in early concept stages to develop products that meet company margins while maintaining design intent and quality
• Have the ability to create tech packs and all productions documents as it relates to garment construction
• Detail oriented excellent written technical skills, as well as a solid team player with the ability to multi-task
• Proficient in Adobe CS Creative suite, Illustrator, Excel and Microsoft office
• Take the lead in sourcing decisions based on volume, techniques, printing, fabrication and cost
• Negotiate all costs, minimums and lead times with vendors and factories, responsible to meet target margins and timelines
• Proactive, planner with great ability to problem solve with a result driven attitude
• Own the responsibility of developing a merchandise and design plan with proper artwork segmentation and timelines
• Must possess strong knowledge of costing, product construction, and all pre-production coordination
• Manage time and action calendar for assigned categories to meet all deadlines.
• Proven ability to work in a cross functional team and a fast paced environment.
• Must have understanding of embroidery and print techniques
