Job Description
The role of the social media and community coordinator exists to ensure all consumer interactions via social media and community initiatives are prioritized. This role will ensure every consumer and ambassador is left with an extremely positive view of the company which will contribute to customer retention, new customer referrals, and increased traffic driven by melin’s social media channels and ambassadors.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Respond to a full inbox of dm's daily with enthusiasm and full understanding that the customer always come first
• Coordinate “above and beyond” gestures for consumers
• Prospect new ambassadors through social media platforms
• Track melin ambassador’s initiatives and provide support through comments and reposting
• Repost UGC content that aligns with melin's social guidelines
• Track analytics of social growth and report to the team
• Work with marketing team to plan out social post weekly and monthly on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Pinterest
• Coordinate social activations/monthly giveaways
• Work with marketing team to fill promotional product requests

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant or related field
• General knowledge of each social platform including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok Twitter, and Pinterest.
• Experienced with Instagram
• Extremely positive attitude and willingness to learn

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

• Minimum 2 years of experience preferred in social media
• Experience with customer service
• General knowledge of each social platform including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, Twitter, and Pinterest.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced working environment
• Experience working with influencers is a plus
• Knowledge and interest in the outdoor, action sport, and fitness industries
