Position Description
A CAD designer within the Womens Wear Team of knitwear and jersey product working closely with the design and merchandise team. The CAD designer key responsibility lies in assisting Design and Merchandise with digital lay outs and selling tools
\n\nRe-producing designers product sketches into illustrative technical CAD's using Adobe Illustrator.
\nLeading digital initiatives in WSW
\nEstablished graphic standards and illustration aesthetic across apparel divisions.
\nWorking to the Divisional Calendar and being organised to meet deadlines set by the Division to execute the collection.
\nPreparing all design sheets for divisional presentations and sales presentation (Sketch Review, Adoption Meeting, Proto review, Line Opening).
\nResponsible for preparing all selected and confirmed styles to be computerized
\nWork closely and communicate daily with the design and merchandise team.
\nPrepare overviews of the collection each season for merchandising Team of WW and Development team.
\nFollowing up on all changes that relate to the product area/ styles on a daily basis.
\nWorking closely with all designers within the design team, communicating ideas and improvements on work flow and Team Building.
\nWilling to learn 3D design
\n\nReporting Relationships
Reporting directly to Design with a dotted line to Merchandise presentations

Position Requirements
\nExcellent computer Skills, illustrator and Photoshop.
\nBasic understanding of garment construction and knowledge of fabrics.
\n3D design knowledge is a plus
\nPLM experience a plus
\nIdeally experience in the womens wear fashion industry with understanding a feminine handwriting.
\nGraphic design experience a plus.
\nSweaters experience a plus, being able to recreate textures in CAD.
\n\nKey Competencies
\n\nFashion Degree from a School of Design.
\nAbility to work in a busy, changeable environment.
\nGood understanding of the English Language.
\nConfident social character required, needs a pro-active approach to working within a large team.
\nMust be used to fast-paced environment.
\n\nEducation, Professional Qualifications and Experience

\n\nIdeally already has experience at a well established commercial fashion brand.
