POSITION SUMMARY:
Senior Executive, Fashion Office, Marketing, Asia Pacific's primary responsibility is to ensures the consistent brand image of the Calvin Klein brand aesthetic through the management and coordination of all advertising efforts, local photo shoots, retail efforts, advertorial and institutional, windows, and specials events. This person acts as the overall liaison between marketing, public relations, merchandising, design, and consumers. This individual must have in-depth understanding of companys brand DNA, and will partner with key players both internally and externally in the fashion world. They are accountable for protecting the brand voice through global creative execution; also overseeing all casting/styling across all Calvin Klein brands throughout the Asia Pacific region, staying in line with the seasonal direction from the New York head office. This position will also support the Fashion Director in all of the above tasks.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB:

Along with the Fashion Director, act as a fashion creative contact for Calvin Klein throughout the Asia Pacific region.
Manage Fashion Office departmental budget
Maintain a good balance between local markets needs and global offices expectation
Manage the Fashion Office Intern in completing all fashion-related projects as well as nurturing a healthy career growth within the company

Look Books/ Local Photo Shoots/ Asia Campaigns
Spearhead and help drive the production and creative for lookbooks and other regional/ local photo shoots and major Asia Campaign across brands.
Suggest talent proposal, product selections and coordinate styling process with stylists, participate all shoots and keep fashion consistencies amongst all digital/retail shoots and initiatives.
Cast and select on-brand models, manage global Fashion Offices expectation
Follow up with production house/photographer providing post production photo retouching

E-Commerce/Retail
Manage and participate in all Rest of Asia CK EComm (shot in Hong Kong) PDP style out and shoots to ensure that all products are being represented and styled properly
Monitor, evaluate and provide feedback of CK China EComm (shot in Shanghai) website PDP shooting process and images quality
Oversee all model casting for CK Ecomm shoots (Hong Kong, China, 3rd parties)
Monitor all 3rd parties EComm website PDP imagery to ensure CK assets are on-brand

Market Week Presentations
Translate seasonal styling directions from Global Creative directors in NY
Lead the styling process while working with merchandising teams making sure all the key looks and products are presented to buyers
Manage and cast brand appropriate models/ talents for presentation; oversee hair and makeup direction

Windows
Assist in the selection of seasonal key merchandise with our visual merchandising team, aligning with global creative direction
Style additional seasonal mannequin looks across brands
Regularly evaluate local retail store mannequins looks and provide feedback

Special Events
Contribute in the initial planning of special events, production scheduling and event itinerary ensuring all fashion aspects/casting choices are on-brand
Overseeing all event preparation details related to styling and celebrity wardrobe, models, and product presentations

Advertorials
Coordinate all creative efforts of advertorials with selected media and licensees pre-selecting key merchandise that best represents seasonal brand creative direction, talent selection, grooming and wardrobe application
Review of all photographs and make necessary creative retouching comments, product copy corrections and revisions aligning with global aesthetic guidelines.

Research for seasonal fashion trends and follow industry movements

CREATIVITY: Must possess high degree of fashion aesthetic; interest in trends, lifestyles, competitors and media. Support introduction of new ideas. Can work within the creative process effectively, and support bring ideas to realization, while always staying true to the Calvin Klein brand aesthetic

TEAMWORK: Builds good working relationships internally as well as externally; collaborates toward deadlines and deliverables. Able to communicate effectively across the team and organization; effectively works at long distances.

ORGANIZING: Works according to defined schedules and deadlines; takes direction well and able to work with high accountability; manages own work and tracks progress. Seeks out resources to get things done; able to multi-task and adapt to a fast-paced, evolving working environment.

ENVIRONMENT: Ability to work in fast-paced, team-oriented setting; while also having the ability to make sound decisions. Adaptability to the global aspect of the brand being based in New York- must be aware of time difference and deadlines.







QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

Experience:
At least 6 years experience in creative fashion/on-set photo shoot experience a plus
A clear understanding of the companys marketing/merchandising/design function and needs
Strong knowledge and network within relevant talents and vendors (e.g. model agencies, photographers, videographers, fashion stylists, hair/make-up stylists, event production agencies, etc.)
Strong experience with budgeting, negotiating and invoicing process
Education: 4 year university degree, fashion related program is preferred

Skills:

Ability to work independently, and/or partnering with global, regional, and local teams
Flexibility to adjust quickly to changes and deliver on tight deadlines in a demanding environment
Strong interpersonal skills, can-do attitude and passionate about Calvin Klein
Detail oriented, good time-management skills
Ability to apply current fashion trends/ themes to the Calvin Klein brand
Business travel required
Fluency in English (both spoken and written), Cantonese/Mandarin a plus
