POSITION SUMMARY:
The Accounts Payable Assistant is responsible for verifying information keyed into the Accounts Payable System and ensuring correct posting of invoices. Including the accuracy of all related data.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB:
Handle all Global Sourcing invoices
Process Corporate and IT PCAs.
Input invoices into the Account Payable system
Research invoices and reconcile vendor statements
Handle the freight process
Verify accuracy of the invoices and ensure they have proper approvals
Answer inquiries from vendors and PVH population
Sort and distribute mail
File invoices and reports
Research open invoices and resolve discrepancies
Handle e-mail & telephone inquires
Reconcile vendor statements
Assist in other AP assignments when requested
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
Experience: 2+ years related experience
Education: High School
Skills: Knowledge of SAP, Lawson and Microsoft Excel. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
